The PULSE Software Maintenance

and Support Agreement

(M1)

This agreement1is available as a part of a new

sys-tem or software purchase or as a renewal of an existing agreement. The duration of the agreement is normally 1 year.

1Current Brüel & Kjær system/software owners who have not owned

an M1 agreement or who have not renewed a previous M1 agree-ment and are, therefore, behind on the latest software can subscribe to a Software Maintenance and Upgrade Agreement (M2).

Extended Hardware Warranty

If an instrument requires repair or adjustment, our skilled technicians are on hand to do the necessary work. With an extended hardware warranty agree-ment, you can eliminate the risk of unexpected repair costs and extend the factory warranty period up to five years after purchase. In addition, we offer a 3-day turnaround option for those who cannot afford downtime on their system. With this agree-ment you will be up and running within 3 business days of a failure.

Installation

It is very important that you get up and running successfully with your new equipment. To achieve this we supply all products with detailed product documentation and we strive to make our solutions easy and intuitive to use. However, in some cases, especially with our more comprehensive systems, it may be beneficial to get the assistance of Brüel & Kjær project engineers and application spe-cialists. Therefore, we offer on-site installation and site acceptance test if required.

Calibration

Regular calibration is not just an investment in quali-ty, but also a source of real cost saving by minimising the cost of errors due to faulty or inaccurate meas-urements. We offer a comprehensive range of cali-bration services, all documented, traceable and per-formed in accordance with the relevant standards. Our calibration laboratories are accredited in many regions, fulfilling the requirements of ISO, A2LA and other standards. We also offer primary calibrations for transducers through the Danish Primary Laboratory of Acoustics (DPLA).

Seminars and Courses

Through our knowledge centre, Brüel & Kjær University, we build and spread sound and vibration related knowledge worldwide by means of semi-nars, advanced courses and product training cover-ing a broad range of applications, theories and products.
