e are pleased to announce that the 33rd edition of the John Molson MBA International Case Competition was the most successful ever since its inception! We are very grateful that this year we had a record amount of sponsorship, IT improved sponsor visibility:

he live case this year was introduced by Mrs. Michaëlle Jean, former Governor General of Canada and current UNESCO of the Haiti case to the competing schools. This was by far the highlight moment of the event and attracted wide media coverage and impressive feedback from the audience.

Largest MBA competition in the world draws participants from 13 countries

John Molson School of Business MBA International Case Competition

Montreal, December 16th, 2013 - From January 5 to 10, 2014, the 33rd John Molson MBA

International Case Competition will welcome 36 schools from around the world at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel in downtown Montreal.

The competition, the oldest and largest of its kind in the world, is organized by 4 MBA students from the John Molson School of Business appointed in March. Five executive assistants join them to bring together 36 schools, 350 volunteers and over 270 local executives as judges. In total, over 1,000 attendees are expected for the weeklong event.

The Netherlands and Brazil will be participating for the first time along with Yale School of Management, University of Minnesota and University of Notre Dame. The Right Honourable Michaëlle J ean to pr esent the live case about Haiti at the J ohn Molson MBA Inter national Case Competition

Montreal, December 30th, 2013-The John Molson MBA International Case Competition will be held

from January 5th-10th, 2014 at the Fairmount Queen Elizabeth Hotel in downtown Montreal.

This year’s live case will be introduced and presented by the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean, former Governor General of Canada and current UNESCO Special Envoy for Haiti, about a subject concerning Haiti.

The live case:

The live case is the signature moment of the competition and is historically presented by a surprise company regarding an issue they are currently facing. The participating teams will then present their solutions and strategies to a panel of judges to evaluate their recommendations.

About the competition:

The John Molson MBA International Case Competition (MBA ICC) was created in 1981 and is currently the largest MBA competition in the world gathering 36 schools from all over the globe including Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Germany and South Africa.

The participating teams tackle seven varied business cases over the week and the final winning team earns the Concordia Cup and a cash prize of $10,000.

The MBA ICC is organized by four MBA candidates from the John Molson School of Business appointed in March. Five executive assistants join them to bring together over 350 volunteers and 270 executive-level judges from the business community.

eza holds a M.Sc. in Industrial Management. Before im-migrating to Canada, he has worked in NIOC-RIPI/Iran, the largest Oil and Gas research institute in the Middle East, as a marketing and sales specialist for 4 years. Reza is a pas-sionate artist of wood-inlay as well. He is a member of Gold-en Key International Honour Society. Reza is in his 2nd year of full-time MBA focused in marketing.
