Content:
A three day workshop will cover modeling and simulation methods for detailed three‐dimensional signal processing in neurons. The content ranges from text book material of different models all the way to three‐dimensional modeling of signal processing in neurons.
Special focus will lie on:
‐ generating three‐dimensional neuron morphologies from anatomical reconstructions
‐ simulating intra‐cellular processes in three space dimensions and in time
‐ multi‐scale modeling of neuronal processes by linking classical simulators (e.g. NEURON) to 3D biochemical simulations
