1. Introduction

1.1

Purpose

The Simorgh Tadbir (ST) has identified the need to receive service management consulting.

The Pishdad Service Management (PSM) is pleased to respond to the request to submit a

proposal to address all services.

1.2

Our Value Proposition

To ensure the best client training experience and results:

All course materials are approved by the Examination Institute for Information

(EXIN) and APMG, an official authorization organizations

All instructors are EXIN and APMG certified V2 and V3 ITIL Service Managers

All instructors have been certified by EXIN and APMG to teach the V3 course.

1.3

About the ITIL V3 Course

The course timings can be adjusted to meet mid of November. There are options on the ITIL

Foundation exam. It can be taken online or it can be a paper based. The online exam

provides real-time result of the exam, while the paper based exam takes about 14 days to get

the results. Online exam requires each student to have access to a PC and the internet for a

fixed date and time. The decision as to which exam type can be made at a later date once the

course has been scheduled.

Profile:

P J Corum is an internationally recognized authority in Information Technology (IT) service management, quality and security. With over 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing and as an IT professional, P J has been both a practitioner and a consultant for many of the Fortune 100 companies and for several Central Banks around the world. He has worked in Europe, Central and South America, Far East and since 1995, in the Middle East.

P J has been a thought leader in quality activities for many years. He was a founding member and on the board of directors for the Quality Assurance Institute (USA), served on President Reagan's "White House Conference on Productivity" (which led to the creation of the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria), and a founding member of the EDP Auditors Association (Information Systems Audit and Control Association). P J was the Chairman of the IT Sub-Group for the Dubai Quality Group for two years, and is a Dubai Quality Award senior assessor.

The Quality Assurance Institute is a transition partner for the CMMI (Capability Maturity Model

Integration) ® products, “Introduction to CMMI” course and “Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for

Process Improvement (SCAMPI)”. In addition to working with a number of individual companies, P J has worked with the Software Engineering Competency Center, Ministry of Communications and Technology, Arab Republic of Egypt for two years to assist 24 software companies on their path to CMMI. He taught 21 courses related to various CMMI Maturity Levels, with emphasis on standards such as IEEE, ISO, and other best practices and models. In addition, P J has been working with the Pakistan Software Export Board to guide 22 software companies in their preparation for CMMI maturity level 2, 3 and 5.

Complementary to the CMMI services, P J also delivers training and consulting services for IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) IT Service Management, ISO 9000, ISO 20000, ISO 27001/2 and CobiT. P J is an accredited instructor for ITIL Foundation and IT Service Manager (V2 and V3), as well as CobiT and ISO 20000. He was a member of the development team for ITIL Version 3 Foundation Course. Some of his most recent clients include: IBM, HP, EDS, ADSIC, BMC, Aramco, ADIA, Injazat Data Systems, TNT, QTel, Omantel, STC, Kuwait Oil Corporation and Dubai Petroleum.
