Swedish Lucas moves from Stockholm to a small Norwegian town, and

At home in their living room, the Dal Brothers are fixing up the new Time

Machine they bought on TV Shop. But suddenly something goes terribly

wrong, and the machine evaporates with Gaus and Roms on board. The

machine resurfaces in the Viking age, after a journey 1000 years back

in time, close to where the amusement park Tusenfryd outside Oslo is

situated today.

Gaus and Roms have to settle a blood-spilling conflict between the

two Viking clans Badejarlene and Granbarkebirkebeinerne. The dispute

is all about which clan should get hold of the sword Tyrfing, a magical

and invincible sword which guarantees its owner nearly unlimited wealth

and power. But the sword is also inflicted with a terrible curse… All this

is taking place while Brumund holds the fort at home, and communicates

with his brothers over the Time Telephone, a kind of fancy video phone.

Exteriors

is a poetic, realistic, surrealistic and somewhat experimental

drama. The film features two girls, PEARL and SKyE, both struggling, foreign

actresses in LA during pilot season. We follow these two, from Norway and

the uK respectively, on the day of a very important audition. Their stories are

very similar; they are both competing for the same part, they are both living

on a friend’s couch and they are both involved in destructive relationships. It

is an exploration of the need to be loved, to be recognized and accepted and,

most importantly, the sacrifices we make to achieve this. We see the girls go

through great lengths to get what they want. They might even get stripped of

their dignity.

Patrik syversen (writer/director/producer) previous efforts include the Norwegian feature film Manhunt. Prowl, his second feature is due for a theatrical uS release in September 2010. Exteriors is his third feature film as a director, his second as a writer and his first as a producer.

marie Kristiansen (photographer/director/producer) is an artist and noted director/ photo grapher. Her most recent efforts range from doing major fashion spreads to directing and shooting experimental shorts and music videos. Exteriors is her first feature film as both director, DP and producer.

Gråtass is thriving on the farm, with his friends Goggen, Gamlefar and Grynet.

But at times he feels lonely, as he is the only live machine on the farm, and

cannot reveal it to the others. Therefore, Gråtass gets Goggen to build the fully

automatic, electric, self-propelled scarecrow Skremme! However, when Skremme

surpasses him in popularity, Gråtass becomes jealous and does some foolish

things to prevent Goggen from presenting Skremme at an invention competition

at the annual fair in the village. As the scrap dealers Hubert and Hieronemus

kidnap Skremme, and Gråtass realizes that it makes Goggen very sad, he regrets

what he did and sets out to get the scoundrels. Together with Skremme, Gråtass

manages to outwit the two villains and turn them over to the police. However,

to succeed, Gråtass has to reveal to everyone at the fair that he is alive and can

drive on his own, something which creates a hullabaloo. With Goggen’s help,

they manage to explain away the whole thing. They claim that both Skremme

and Gråtass are Goggen’s remote controlled inventions, and Gråtass gets the new

friend he wished for.

trond Jacobsen (born 1967) has studied TV directing at Lillehammer College. The past 15 years, he has worked as a director of films, TV series and animation for children. He is also a producer and photographer of international documentary films. He has both been nominated and won awards for his work in Norway and abroad. This is his second feature film.

Glenn has been dumped by his girlfriend. He is lonely, and terribly diffi cult to

deal with. He lives in a commune with three other slackers in their late twenties.

To cheer him up, his buddies get a brilliant idea. How about organizing a fake

audition for a non-existing feature film? The role to be advertised will include

all the qualities Glenn is looking for in a girl, and maybe he will find a new

girlfriend during the audition rounds. under the cover of making a film, the boys

arrange fictitious casting sessions. After a series of unsuccessful auditions, they

find Linda, a girl that Glenn falls for immediately. So much so that he offers her

the part in order to be able to hang out with her. Not the smartest move ever.

As a relationship starts developing between the two, questions arise. Like, when

will shooting start? What’s the budget like? Who will play the other roles? It all

culminates when it turns out that Linda’s mother is a wealthy investor who

insists on providing capital for the production. To keep up appearances and to

save what may potentially develop with Linda, Glenn and the boys have to start

their production and actually make the film.

nini bull robsahm (1981) is educated at The Film & TV Academy in Oslo. She wrote the screenplay, played one of the leading roles and was executive producer of Manhunt in 2008. Headhunters

, we meet the charming scoundrel Roger, a man who

apparently has it all. He’s Norway’s most accomplished headhunter.

He’s married to the unbelievably beautiful gallery owner Diana, has

a far too sumptuous villa and must, to keep his head above water

financially, steal a little too much art. At an opening, his wife introduces

him to a Dutchman, Clas Greve. He is the perfect candidate for any top job:

A former mercenary with a background as a chief executive in the electronics

business, with significant sex appeal as well. He’s also in possession of a

painting worth seven figures in Euros. Rogers eyes a chance to liberate

himself from his financial worries, and embarks on his greatest coup.

Breaking into Greve’s house turns out to be easy, but on his way out with

the painting, Roger discovers something which will soon make him a hunted

man. Suddenly money is the least of his worries. Everybody wants something.

Nobody gets it for free. Not without stepping over corpses. The headhunt

has begun.

morten tyldum (1967) is a commercial director, and has won a number of awards for his films. He has also made several short dramas. His first feature film was the award winning Buddy (2003). Morten Tyldum is educated from School of Visual Arts, New york. After graduating, he worked for several years at public broadcaster NRK with the youth pro-gramme u, where he made several documentaries.

It’s Midsummer Eve, and the sun blazes from a cloudless sky. At the camping

ground, vacation season has started. Buses arrive to transport the guests to

the great Midsummer party some distance from the camping ground. However,

two couples decide to stay behind and enjoy the tranquility. They decide to

celebrate Midsummer Eve together.

They have not celebrated long before extraordinary natural pheno mena

surround them. With Mrs. Sørensen’s arrival, the peculiar natural phenomena

escalate. But the cabin guests continue partying. As nature steps up its

attack, and things actually start resembling Doomsday, they discover that

little Simon is missing.

All in all a traditional summer comedy, except for the fact that it’s

the end of the world.

Per-olav sørensen (born 1953) is a director, dramatist and producer. Since 1993, he has staged a number of success performances at both inter-national and Norwegian theatres. For the past six years, Sørensen has worked increasingly with motion pictures. He has directed all of 43 TV drama episodes. He will also direct the major TV project The Half Brother, scheduled to be shot in 2011. People in the Sun is his first feature film.

Ali and his gang are back. After a somewhat involuntary “vacation” in one of

the capital’s rather draughty establishments, Ali has finally had it. He has a

plan which cannot go wrong; he will become a law-abiding citizen. Just like

a number of prosperous men in his family, Ali is going to get a kebab shop

together, and get rich from feeding drunken, hungry Norwegians. The brown

gold will make him a wealthy man. But of course it doesn’t work out as

planned. Because it’s no piece of cake to deprive a Danish drug baron of his

freedom or a bunch of North Norwegian moonshiners of their future revenue.

It leads to consequences – and when Ali is released from Oslo Prison, they all

form a welcome committee. Before the kebab meat has time to turn lukewarm,

the boys have to make amends. Which does not prove inexpensive. All they

need is a racecourse, a circus and a money transport.

The artistically responsible directors are leon bashir

and sebastian dalén. They have jointly written and directed the previous film Tomme tønner as well as this sequel. In addition, Bashir plays the leading role in both films.

The Troll Hunter

is a sensational documentary which exposes the Norwegian

Government’s monumental efforts to hide the sensational news that trolls

actually exists in Norway – and has done so over millenniums. Within the

corridors of the Government there is a secret department – The Troll Security

Service – who’s job is to monitor the trolls. They also have the power to call in

a Troll Hunter to cover up problems if trolls break out of their reservations.

The film will show actual shots of trolls in their real environment and

it also raises the issue of what tragic fate befell the young film team who

came across this state secret.

andré Øvredal made a name for himself as one of Norway’s most successful director of commer-cials with more than a hundred commercommer-cials for customers in Norway and abroad to his credit. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brooks Institute of Photography in California where he directed the first feature in the school’s 50 year old history. This thriller Future Murder was released as one of 80 first-time films in a special DVD series. It was also shown at the Santa Barbara International Film Festi-val in 1997 and released in several countries.

The film starts as a journey by the two directors, Olga and Andrei, one

on each side of the frontline during the 2008 Russian-Georgian war.

A non-conventional deeply personal feature documentary that firmly

andrei lvovich nekrasov (1958), studied acting and directing at the State Institute for Theater and Film in St Petersburg. He studied comparative literature and philosophy at the university of Paris, and film at Bristol university Film School. In 1985, he assisted Andrei Tarkovsky during the filming and editing of The Sacrifice. In 1997 his first feature, Love Is As Strong as Death won the FIPRESCI prize at Mannheim-Heidelberg. The director’s second feature, Lubov and Other Nightmares (2001) confirmed his status as a rebel among Russian film-makers. His last film, Rebellion: The Litvinenko Case presents interviews with assassinated former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko and journalist Anna Politkovskaya.
