SESSION I
WHAT IS ANOINTING
1. The anointing is the PRINCIPLE and the FOUNDATION for doing the work of
the Lord.
2. The anointing of God is the IMPARTATION of the grace, ABILITY and POWER
of God upon our lives to do what God has called us to do.
3. The anointing is unction from the Holy Spirit, to EQUIP and EMPOWER every
saint for the ministry which He has ordained for us.
4. The anointing of God cannot be hidden but must PERMEATE and FLOW OUT
of our lives and ministries.
5. The anointing is a TANGIBLE measure of God’s Holy Spirit imparted upon those
He has chosen.
6. This anointing gives the special SUPERNATURAL ability to fulfill God’s call on
lives.
7. The anointing is like “durian”, a thorny fruit with overwhelming AROMA leaving a lasting impression.
8. We need to be ministers of life who releasing the anointing of God as we

SESSION II
THE ANOINTING UPON JESUS
1. Our Lord Jesus Christ carried out HIS MINISTRY through the anointing of the
Holy Spirit.
2. It took the ANOINTING to destroy the works of the devil (Isa 10:27, 1 John 3:8). 3. If Jesus did all His works by the anointing, then we would need the SAME
ANOINTING that was upon Jesus to be upon us to do the works He did.
4. We do not receive the FULL MEASURE of anointing instantly.
5. We grow from ONE LEVEL of anointing to another until we reach the level of
anointing He functioning in.
6. Jesus operated His anointing upon His life through UNION with the Father. 7. Jesus never sent anyone to represent Him that He did not first EMPOWER (Lk
9:1).
8. The anointing was essential for Jesus to FULFILL His ministry.
9. The anointing TRANSFERRED from Jesus to His disciples who were to share

SESSION III
THREE AREAS OF ANOINTING
1. The BELIEVER’S anointing is within an individual. 2. The MINISTERIAL anointing is upon an individual.
3. The CORPORATE anointing is upon a gathering of believers.
4. The believer’s anointing can be increase: BY GROWTH IN FAITH
BY GROWTH IN GRACE BY GROWTH IN GLORY
5. The increase in level of the believer’s anointing depends upon what you do with
your SPIRITUAL LIFE.
6. The RESPONSIBILITY to increase it is yours. The ministerial anointing of
prophet, priest and king were the only anointing AVAILABLE in the Old Covenant.
7. When I proceed to act according to the impressions I received under the ministerial anointing, I see MIRACLES take place and the GLORY of God manifests.
8. If you have a great desire to be used by God powerfully in a ministerial anointing,
it would pay you well to develop the ANOINTING WITHIN first.
9. The anointing within is developed by MEDITATION upon the Word of God and

SESSION IV THE SUBSTANCE OF THE ANOINTING
1. The anointing can be stored like a BATTERY and TRANSMITTED.
2. Many times in Jesus’ ministry the anointing would be so great that His clothing
was literally CHARGED with the power of God (Mark 5:27-30).
3. Those who touched His garments received MIRACLES (Mark 6:56). 4. The ability of the anointing of God flowing through any substance is
DEPENDENT on the level of anointing imparted rather than on the materiality of the substance.
5. If man can believe God for CREATIVE power, we can believe that God’s power
can flow through any OBJECTS.
6. The anointing of God can even flow through a SHADOW (Acts 5:15). It has no
natural materiality yet God’s power flowed whenever the shadow of peter fell.
7. In the law of electricity, when we want more power in our rooms, we must
REWIRE our house to take the extra load of power.
8. Pay the price to be better CONDUCTORS, move into a HIGHER level of

SESSION V
HOW TO RECEIVE THE ANOINTING
1. By Asking
ASK with a very strong desire in prayer. We must thirst and long for it with all our hearts before we ask (Psalm 63:1-2).
2. By Contact
Anointing can be IMPARTED. Impartation means TRANSFER.
When anointing is imparted, it is transferred form one anointed VESSEL to the other.
It is always from a SUPERIOR to a subordinate. 3. By Burning Desire
The desire must be INTENSE and he must go about it with singleness of mind and PURPOSE.
4. By The Laying On Of Hands
The Spirit of Moses was transferred into seventy elders of Israel enabled them to OPERATE in the office they were called into.
5. By Anointing With Oil
The anointing oil is not a SYMBOL. It is a MEDIUM through which the Holy Spirit operates in the beneficiary.

Seven keys to build and unlock the anointing of God: 1. Prayer and the Word (Acts 6:2-4)
We will give ourselves CONTINUALLY to prayer and to the MINISTRY of the word.
2. Timing of God (Habakuk 2:3)
God is not only the God of PLAN and purpose but He is also the God of TIMING. We need to WAIT for the appointed time for the fulfillment of the vision of God. 3. Know your calling
When we move into our CALLING in Christ, God will release the anointing upon us to rise up as an army of God.
When we are FAITHFUL, God will increase the anointing upon our lives and move us higher in Him (Matt 25:20-25)
4. Remove All Hindrances (Eph 4:29-32)
There are many HINDRANCES to receiving the anointing of God.
Wrong words, word actions and wrong attitudes can NEGATE and NULLIFY the anointing of God.
5. Worship (2 Chronicles 5:13, 14)
Praise and worship PREPARE the heart of the people to be tender and open to the anointing of God. Worship will cause us to be SENSITIVE to the moving of the Holy Spirit.
6. Expectation of The Congregation
The faith and expectation level of congregation will DETERMINE the anointing in a meeting.
When saints come with hunger and thirst for God and His word, they will DRAW the anointing from He preacher.

7. Unity of The Brethren (Psalm 133)
Four things result when brethren dwell in unity:
a) The RELEASE of anointing oil. b) REFRESHMENT of the dew. c) BLESSING of the Lord.
d) LIFE forever more.
When the saints are united as one body, God will release His anointing in a MIGHTY WAVE and the world will come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
