Working with a Team is Important

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working

together is success.” -Henry Ford

“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision, the

ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational

objectives; it is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon

results.” - Andrew Carnegie

“None of us is as smart as all of us” - Ken Blanchard

“The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have

the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play

Baarrtt HHiinneerr has a true passion for creating and monitoring portfolios. He believes that investor’s assets should be diversified, as do most financial advisors. One difference that Bart brings to his investment strategy is that he does not believe in diversification to the point of dilu-tion, or for the sake of diversification alone. Bart likes portfolios to be defensive, tactical, and opportunistic.

A Little More About Us

B

Brriiaann BBeevvaann-- I moved back to Utah in 2003 after living out of the coun-try and then working in a position where I was able to travel extensively across the US. I spend a good deal of my free time with my wife and two young boys. As a family, we enjoy all things outdoors; sports, camping, river rafting, biking and skiing. I also volunteer time fundraising for Utah’s Hogle Zoo and ski patrol at Park City Mountain Resort. The center of my wealth management efforts revolve around working with business own-ers and executives. As result of many years working with clients across the country and being a native of Utah, I have a keen understanding of the needs of Utah businesses. My expert-ise encompasses the many facets of

business, from cash management to succession planning. My network of professional contacts allows for client mutually beneficial introduc-tions. Clients currently utilize me as a trusted resource. I strongly affirm financial success comes from marry-ing professional and personal finan-cial goals.

S

Shhaarroonn SSttoouutt- I don’t like leaving important things to chance, in my personal life and in my professional life. Everyone who knows me, knows I really like to plan ahead and pay attention to the details. I moved to Park City, Utah from Maryland in 2002. Even though it has been almost ten years I still wake up feeling lucky to live in this beautiful place. When I

am not playing in the mountains I like to play in the water. The most important people in the whole world are my family. They are the precious jewels in my life. We are a close fami-ly who enjoy spending time together. Holidays are big in my life. I am an avid and enthusiastic celebrator of festive occasions. I am originally from Germany and have retained dual citizenship but call America home. We don’t plan to fail; only sometimes we fail to plan. As a mem-ber of The NorthStar Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, I will work hard for you to help you pre-pare financially for the events that are important to you.

A Little More About Us

S

Stteevvee YYaawwoorrsskkyy- Life is all about transitions. I was born and raised near Toronto, but grew up in Utah. After graduating from the University of Utah, I headed to Chicago and the life of a commodities broker. But the climate drew me back, along with the lifestyle and opportunity for my fam-ily here. And now as my children grow up, and parents retire, I want to make sure that all of our changing needs will be met. If you need advice on how to master the transitions in your life, contact me. My office is conveniently perched overlooking

the newly transformed City Creek Center in downtown Salt Lake City. B

Baarrtt HHiinneerr- My personal belief about life in general or when I work invest-ing assets is that a good defense is your best offense. I was born and raised in Arizona, I moved to Utah in 1992 where I met a wonderful girl who later became my wife. I began my career here in Utah and later we started our family. We have three children, two daughters and one son. Much of our family time now revolves around our active family and their competitive sports

sched-ule. As a family we also enjoy camp-ing and boatcamp-ing, especially on Lake Powell. I have always been an avid follower of markets and really enjoy investing. I am a lucky man, and have found a way to harness my pas-sion for investing into my career. Managing and growing portfolios is what I enjoy doing above all else. Being a member of The NorthStar Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, allows each of us to work together in a spirit of collaboration utilizing each of our strengths for the benefit of our clients.

Life is a Wonderful and Complex

Journey

It is Nice to Have a Guide Along the Way

The beauty of our world is that we are all different; the destinations we want to travel to are as varied as the mode of transportation we choose to get us there. Some of us want to meander to our destinations, stop-ping to smell each flower along the path, while others of us want to take a supersonic jet and just be there already. As long as we understand

what we are gaining and giving up by our choices, there is no right or wrong way of navigating through our lives.

No matter how you feel most com-fortable getting there, or where your destinations may lie, the members of The NorthStar Group at Morgan Stanley take seriously our part in helping you chart your financial

course towards realizing your finan-cial goals. We will work with you to identify where you want to go, be it retirement, higher education plan-ning, business succession, leaving a legacy, or something else altogether. We will then explore with you, the different modes of getting you there; including the risks and rewards asso-ciated with each of those options.
