Class of 2013 Full-Time Employment Profile

90.8% of students in the W. P. Carey Full-time MBA Class of 2013 accepted employment within three months of graduation, up from 89.4% in 2012. Overall compensation levels were little changed, with a general trend toward modest increases in mean and modest decreases in median salary and signing bonus. Other guaranteed compensation, reported by 9 graduates, rose considerably. Highlights of changes relative to 2012 data are:

 90 day job acceptance +1.4%  Mean base salary +3.5%  Mean signing bonus +7.2%  Median base salary -1.6%

 Mean other guaranteed compensation +34%

71.2% of accepted jobs were sourced through school facilitated activities (campus recruiting, job postings, resume books and referrals). This 20.4% increase over 2012 was influenced by several activities and factors including:

 A tenured, well respected team working with the full-time students  15% increase in on-campus interviews

 Significant increase in job postings1

 Referrals from the Network for Value Chain Excellence and the Center for Services Leadership  MBA alumni referrals and engagement

All data in this report conform to the MBA Career Services Council Standards for Reporting MBA Employment Statistics.
