From Capodichino airport, Naples you can reach the Beverello Pier (Molo Beverello) using either tax or bus. A shuttle bus links the airport directly with Beverello Pier and the ticket can be bought on board. By taxi it is possible also to reach the tourist pier of Mergellina from which hy-drofoils depart for the island of Ischia.
By car
Motorway for Naples: after the Naples toll booth, continue for about 12 kms and take the ring road (tangenziale) towards Pozzuoli. Follow the ring road until you come to the first exit after the Via Campana toll booth. Follow signs for the port and embark for Ischia Porto or Casamic-ciola Terme. If you choose Porto di Massa, (always after the motorway toll booth), follow the signs for the Naples port area (zona portuale) and then follow the signs for Porto di Massa for embarkation for Ischia.
