Last weekend, December 24, Christmas Eve, we began our celebration of Christmas. Christmas is a “Season” not just a “Day”. It (usually) lasts until the Sunday after Epiphany. Epiphany is celebrated on the Sunday that falls between January 2 and 8. However, this year, when Epiphany is celebrated as late as January 7, the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord will be celebrated on Monday, January 8 and that will be the end of the Christmas Season.
