Complete a COVID-19 Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test from a CLIA/CDC/UKAS approved lab, accredited with ISO/IEO 17025 standards. The sample must be nasopharyngeal, taken two to three days before departure.

Health Screening At Airport

Upon your arrival, you will have your temperature checked and asked to answer a series of health screening questions, including health and travel history. The Ministry of Health reserves the right to require testing of any traveler to the Federation regardless of the documentations presented or any other requirements, obligations or conditions associated with their assigned risk category.

Returning Nationals and Residents who are fully vaccinated may take private transpotation or approved taxis. If arriving into Vance Amory Airport, take approved taxi.

If arriving into RLB Airport, take approved taxi with transfer to approved water taxi into sunny Nevis.

Should your travels continue through Oualie Pier, take an approved taxi to your approved accommodation.

All transportation expenses are the responsibility of the traveler.

Non-vaccinated travelers will be required to quarantine at a government facility or at a pre-approved private home or residence with 24 hour security (at travelers expense) for a period of 9 days and test on day 9 (cost USD 100).

If you test positive for COVID-19 while in Nevis, you will be required by the Ministry of Health to undergo a period of isolation at your own expense.

Upon recovery, you may continue your travel itinerary or fully enjoy Nevis.

Nevis is currently not accepting RT-PCR tests for International Travelers, Nationals/Residents, and Non-Nationals/

Non-Residents conducted by LabCorp. Self-samples, rapid tests, or home tests will be considered invalid.

Children 11 and under will be covered under their

parent's vaccination status and children 11-18 who are not fully vaccinated will be required to quarantine for 24 hours.

A traveler is considered fully vaccinated if two weeks have elapsed after receiving their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer / Moderna & AstraZeneca/Oxford), or two weeks after receiving a single dose vaccine (Johnson &

Travel Restrictions for Brazil remain in place.

requires a negative COVID-19 test, one can be administered (cost USD 150).

However, if a pre-departure test is still required for the country of the

destination, travelers must take an Antigen test( USD 50-55) 48 to 72 hours prior to departure. The test should be scheduled through the hotel

concierge desk. Pre-departure tests will be taken solely by a Ministry of Health-approved health professional.

Children 11 and under will be covered under their parent's vaccination status and children 11-18 who are not fully vaccinated will be required to quarantine for 24 hours.

Notes for International Travelers

Fully vaccinated international travelers arriving by air are not required to submit an exit RT-PCR test. If a

pre-departure test is still required for the country of

destination, the RT-PCR test will be taken 72 hours before departure. Example: If you are staying 7 days, your

pre-departure test will be after 24 hours; if you staying 14 days, your pre-departure test will be taken on day 11.

Travelers should follow recommendations or requirements in Nevis, including mask-wearing and social distancing.

A traveler is considered fully vaccinated if two weeks have

elapsed after receiving their second dose of a two-dose vaccine (Pfizer / Moderna & AstraZeneca/Oxford/Sinopharm, Sinovac), or two weeks after receiving a single dose vaccine (Johnson &

Johnson), or any PAHO approved vaccine. The traveler’s official COVID-19 vaccination card is accepted as proof.

International travelers who are staying in travel-approved villas, condos, and/or private homes are advised to

contact the COVID-19 taskforce hotline 311 or to schedule their

pre-departure tests.
