Interim Director, Dual Enrollment and Off-Site Locations

Provide leadership and administration for planning, developing, implementing, and assessing the Dual Enrollment: College and Career Access Pathway (CCAP) initiative with local high schools in the Victor Valley College (VVC) service area. In addition, provide leadership for marketing, faculty recruitment, and facility assessment as it pertains to the development of off-site locations.
● Provide leadership, coordination, and implementation of Dual Enrollment: College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP) partnerships with high schools located within the Victor Valley Community College District service area;
● Research and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws as well as local policies and regulations as related to Dual Enrollment;
● Collaborate with all local public district offices and the community at large in order to support student success, equity, and access to Dual Enrollment opportunities;
● Facilitate the CCAP bimonthly meetings at VVC;
● Collect, analyze, and report data as required by the state to communicate effectiveness and success of the Dual enrollment program;
● Serve as a representative of the district on local planning and advisory groups as they relate to Dual Enrollment;
● Maintain current knowledge of trends and innovations in community colleges and higher education as it pertains to Dual Enrollment;
● Collaborate with district administrators to develop an off-site program at Serrano High School. Efforts included marketing, schedule development, and facility analysis;
● Coordinate the development of an MOU template used for several off-site locations in the VVC service area;
● Maintain a strong working relationship with the deans to expedite the recruitment of faculty for the Dual Enrollment program;
● Collaborate and mentor faculty to ensure support systems are in place at off-site locations;
● Developed all marketing materials to partner schools and created a brand for the Dual Enrollment program throughout the VVC service area;
Interim Dean of Instruction, Distance Education, and Library Services

Provided leadership, planning, organization, and evaluation of the activities and operations of the Office of Instruction, distance learning program, and learning support services. Coordinated assigned activities with other divisions and outside agencies. Supported the distance education program by serving as the Distance Education Coordinator. ● Developed and maintained a schedule of more than 1900 active courses that served nearly 11,000 students;

Institutional Research Coordinator
Victor Valley College June, 1999 - October, 2016 Organized, developed, evaluated, and implemented a comprehensive institutional research program to assist VVC in improving its effectiveness as a learning-centered institution. Provided research assistance to the instructional and non-instructional departments to aid in the
institutions' program review process, matriculation, accreditation, grant development, and strategic master planning.
