The Future of BIM
• Combating Sick Building Syndrome
Sick building syndrome (SBS) refers to buildings where occupants experience acute health and comfort effects that appear to be linked to time spent in a building, without a specific illness or cause identified. With building information modeling, project stakeholders may be able to reduce the risk of SBS by
determining how best to maximize natural light, increase airflow and ventilation and improve office acoustics prior to construction.
• Improving Energy Efficiency and Sustainability
While engineers already use energy modeling, the process is costly and time-consuming. Building information modeling has the potential to enable engineers to accurately estimate energy utilization, water consumption and CO2 emissions. This can help them identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve
sustainability throughout a building’s lifecycle. And considering the average
commercial building wastes as much as 30 percent of the energy it consumes, this is critical.
• BIM and Augmented Reality
BIM already allows users to virtually navigate a space that doesn’t yet exist, but it’s not exactly immersive. In the not-so-distant future, architects, engineers and designers will be able to leverage augmented reality (AR) to conduct digital
walkthroughs of future buildings. This will allow them to develop a more thorough visual and quantitative analysis of individual elements within the space.
• BIM will turn into AIIM(Artificial Intelligent Information Modeling) Generative Design and Dynamo Studio are examples of it.

BIM Services:
HVAC
HVAC model, along with hangers say trapeze, strap or seismic etc, is produced keeping intact all the building codes in accordance with SMACNA, ASHRAE and other local standards. The modelling process involves following process:
Merging
Architecture/Structure to modelling interface
Creating Model following Building
Codes and HVAC standards and contract documents
Coordination with other services using common visualization interface as Navisworks Constructability Review/ Value Engineering
Post modelling and coordination, once it is clash free, we proceed towards producing installation drawing, penetration plan, spool drawing for pre-fabrication and other deliverables required by the client.
BLOCK CUT-OUT DRAWINGS
In the modern construction practices as the
construction proceeds, these block out is made
in the walls with the help of this block cutout
drawing in while erecting the walls. This is done
for even distribution of stress around the cut
out. However, this is not a thumb rule. Many
times this cutouts are made post wall erection.
SHOP DRAWING
The shop drawing or the installation plan is the
of utmost importance. It is the sheet which get
in directly used by the site engineers. Contains
detailed information of the elevation, size ,
dimension of the service. The level detailing
may vary as per the clients

MECHANICAL PIPING
• Mechanical Piping is one of the most
important services in any building. The MP
services run from the Mechanical Room to
serve different equipment.
• This mainly comprise of the HVAC wet that
runs between the AHU to chiller and many
a times to cooling tower.
• These pipes are further classified as Hot
Water Supply and Return whose source is
boiler
• Also, as the chilled water supply and return
whose source is the chillers
• The condensate from the different FCUs,
AHUs is also categorized under this system

MP SHOP DRAWING
PENETRATION DRAWING
MP SPOOL DRAWING
Penetration Drawing are
produced to know the location of the services passing from one floor to other through the slab. This is very much important to locate the exact position of the service. Since the core drilling cost is pretty high, mostly this is made while when the slabs are laid.
As earlier stated, shop drawings or installation drawing contains the details of the services say it the
elevation, size and dimensioning. This is drawing which is referred on site. So, the drawing is of utmost
importance
The current construction process follows the trend of pre
fabrication and creates combine packaged of the services. This makes the work on site less hectic and make the installation much easier and handy
PLUMBING

Med Gas 3D Model Shop Drawing Drainage And Vent
• The plumbing model is created from the contract/design drawings in strict compliance with contract specifications, technical submittals and the relevant codes (UA/EU or the country/state codes, UPC/IPC and other local codes.
• We generate a coordinated BIM model after resolving the clashes among all the trades (Architecture, Structure, Concrete, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, etc.). Clashes are resolved through Online meetings / sharing 3D clash snapshot. Clashes are resolved by re-routing utilities, changing elevation and re-sizing. Value Engineering is also offered to improve system efficiency, reduce costs and easier construction and maintenance
PLUMBING SPOOL & BOM
The current construction process follows the trend of pre-fabrication and creates combine packaged of
the services. This makes the work on site less hectic and make the installation much easier and handy.
These spool’s length are as per the logistics which will carry them. Addition to this, the Bill Of Material will
give an idea about the quantity required. Hence, reducing the chance of over estimation and under
estimation and proper inventory management.
ELECTRICAL
The electrical services consist majorly of
conduits, cable tray and lighting. Use of
electrical BIM design for construction has
numerous advantages for all the stakeholders of
the discipline, whether its client, contractor or
consultant. Electrical BIM modeling services
provide a way to implement prefabrication
process opportunities for electrical contractors.
Implementation of BIM practices for an
electrical contracting project helps in improving
safety measures on-site, which further helps in
avoiding accidents and mitigates risk during
construction.

FIRE PROTECTION
The powerful spatial coordination capability of BIM (also known as clash detection') is the primary way projects involving multiple trades are taking advantage of BIM. Conventional coordination, done with transparent drawings on light tables and between crews in the field, yields mixed results. On a BIM project, the discipline-specific models produced by engineers and trades can be
evaluated together as if they were in a single model by uploading them into specialized software programs, such as NavisWorks, Solibri or BIM Sight, that can read multiple file formats concurrently. This way, geometric conflicts between the models can be
3D FAMILY CREATION
• Families are termed as building
blocks in Building Information
Modeling. A family could be a cluster
of parts that unit employed in
developing a BIM model with a
typical set of properties (called
parameters) and related graphical
depiction.
• Family creation services target
creating basic parametric families
like furniture and equipment. It
enhances the graphics quality of the
project models by modifying the
various BIM families
MECHANICAL ROOM
• A mechanical room or a boiler room could also be an area or space during a building dedicated to the
mechanical equipment and its associated electrical equipment, as opposition rooms intended for human occupancy or storage.
• Unless a building is served by a centralized heating, the dimensions of the mechanical room is usually proportional to the dimensions of the building. a tiny low building or home may have at the foremost a utility room but in large buildings mechanical rooms could also be of considerable size, often requiring multiple rooms throughout the building, or even occupying one or more complete floors.
• Mechanical rooms are perplexing spaces containing chillers, warm exchangers, Pressure Vessels, control valves, stand funnels, swing-jolt conclusion, sterile, boilers and conduits.
• In our procedure, we break down the whole
framework design and illustrations to produce the much-prepared model considering all of the parts of conflicts, get to spaces, future repairs so on.
HANGER DRAWING
A wire-hanging system, or hangers, combines
anchors and frames in a solution approved by
authorized assessors, is attractive, light,
supplied in ready-to-use kits for easy
installation and can leverage the support of
field teams. This system consists of an
anchor, a thick wire loop with a stud, an
i-bolt, a keyless blocker to lock the wire in
place, snap hooks, corner protectors for
HVAC ducts and protective sleeves.
An ideal support system will consist of:
• Anchors that perform efficiently in seismic
and fire conditions
• Engineered frames or wire-hanging
supports that can withstand high
temperatures and earthquakes
• Approved systems of anchors and frames
DYNAMO SCRIPTING
Use Dynamo to create scripts that automate repetitive
tasks, explore complex design problems, and streamline
BIM workflows in a Revit model. By using Dynamo to
create a script that meets your specific needs, you can save
hours of work. ... Place adaptive components relative to
selected elements in a Revit model
For example,
• Place adaptive components relative to selected elements
in a Revit model
• Identify areas within a tolerance, and override colors in
the active view to communicate the tolerance
• Use coordinates and line lengths to generate a
structurally framed and floored tower
• Import a solid form into Revit
• Place a number of solar panels and write unique
numbers to their Mark parameter
CONSTRUCTIBILITY AND VALUE
ADDITION
Construction projects, especially infrastructure projects, are considered as the most important interests of countries, due to their direct effects on economy, countries development, and all life's aspects. Accordingly, many technologies and programs have been developed trying to control projects in terms of costs, time of implementation, and the outputs quality. Among the best practices that have proven successful in this area are
constructability and value engineering. In this research infrastructure projects in Iraq were
assessed, and found that those projects suffer from failure on several fronts, because they are
implemented using traditional methods which lead to a significant waste in resources. A model based on the concepts of constructability and value
engineering is proposed and applied to project phases, including the operation & maintenance phases. Results show that applying the suggested model lead to saving time, cost and improving the required quality of materials and work, by taking advantage of experience of all project's partners
