We provide a range of occupational

health services aimed at preventing

injuries, facilitating speedy recoveries

and, ultimately, keeping employees

happy, healthy and able to do their jobs.

Workforce development

Workforce development means developing the people in an organisation to improve the way they deliver services and activities. hoople can work with you to develop a plan to help grow your staff – from providing basic training needs analysis to comprehensive workforce strategies. Practically, workforce development often means training, but it can also include other ways of gaining knowledge, such as mentoring schemes and secondments. hoople cannot only assist you in identifying these requirements, but can also deliver a wide range of products and services to meet these needs.

Apprenticeships

We offer a range of apprenticeships to employers, including funded 16-18 year old apprentices, through our Skills Funding agency contract. Our apprenticeships combine on-the-job training with classroom training, support, advice and guidance. Courses we offer include: Business administration, Children and young People’s Workforce, Customer Service, Dental nursing, health and Social Care and retail.

apprenticeships are designed around the needs of employers. We provide over 200 courses across a variety of disciplines, specialising in health and social care and safeguarding. having evolved from herefordshire Council and nhS herefordshire, we are backed by over fourteen years’ relevant experience. Our highly qualified tutors train over 1,250 people every month.

the institute of leadership & management is the UK’s foremost leadership and management qualifications body. the qualifications are practically based, and are designed to complement the individual’s role at work. hoople is a recognised training centre for ilm courses. We offer both ilm certificate and ilm awards at key levels 2 and 3 and are developing content for level 5 Certificate in leadership and management.

We can also be very flexible in designing a programme which suits your particular needs.

Lean systems thinking

lean systems thinking is a method whereby managers analyse a service organisation’s systems to make changes to improve the customer experience. this maximises efficiency and cost savings. to be effective the approach must involve all levels of management from executive to front-line staff. Our lean academy can support you in becoming a lean systems thinking organisation.

like all of our training courses, we can adapt to your requirements. to adopt lean systems thinking into your organisation, we recommend starting with a management team introduction, followed by staff awareness training. to move your organisation further forward, you may look to offering a development programme to up to fifteen delegates who can then lead the organisation on its lean systems thinking journey.
