QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION

For the purposes of paragraph 8(l)(a) of the psycho log is^ Act 1994 the qualifications rewgnised by the Board are as follow.

EXPLANATION

OF

SCHEDULES.

Schedule 1. These are 4 year courses and constitute academic attainment satisfactory for registration purposes.

Schedule 2. Part A

These courses are of 3 years duration and need to be supplemented by a qualification from:

Part B

These courses are minimum 1 year full -time (2 years part

time) Together these courses constitute a four year academic qualification. Part C

These courses combined with a 3 year course from Part A constitute a 5 year academic program. (Supplementation with one year (80 hours) of supervision will meet the Board's requirements for registration)

Schedule 3 Constitutes higher degrees in psychology which, dependent on their-practical content, may constitute satisfactory practical experience.
