SALES AND OPERATIONS MANAGERThis is an exciting new position with Harmon Personnel Services is a private, non-profit staffing agency serving Franklin and Hampshire Counties. We are searching for a Sales and Operations Manager to take Harmon to the next level of excellence and innovation, assisting employers in our region meet their staffing needs, and helping people with low incomes or other barriers develop job skills and find employment.
The Sales and Operations Manager establishes mission-driven business goals, oversees the daily operations of the organization, and maintains the overall fiscal and operational integrity of the business. The manager is responsible for supervising staff that recruit job candidates and provide assessments, training, supportive services and placement with employers for temporary, temp-to-hire and direct placements. The manager is also responsible for finding potential employers and managing the relationships with employer contacts.
Minimum of two years of sales and management experience required, preferably in the staffing industry. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or Business or equivalent experience preferred. Must have strong leadership, team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Knowledge of labor and employment laws and local employment market preferred. Must have excellent verbal, written, telephone and interpersonal communication skills and strong computer skills. Large Head Start and Early Education and Care Provider (serving children 6 weeks to 5 years) is seeking an innovative, passionate and skilled professional to oversee the delivery of mental health and disabilities services. Supervises on site Developmental Specialists for Disabilities and Mental Health
and works closely with staff and families to build capacity, build bridges between systems and services on behalf of children and families, provide support for crisis management. Works with program leaders to continually improve best program practices in case management and developmental supports. At minimum, candidate must be a licensed mental health professional with Masters Degree and 2 years experience in early childhood mental health. DEVELOPMENTAL SPECIALIST for MENTAL HEALTH
Large Head Start and Early Education and Care Provider is seeking skilled professional to be part of our developmental services team. TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR
Our large Head Start and Child Care Program is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee transportation services for young children. 3 years experience coordinating fleet of passenger vans and school buses and at least one year supervisory experience required. Must have CDL License with S and P endorsements and have or quickly acquire working knowledge of the Department of Public Utilities, Department of Motor Vehicles, Head Start, State and Federal regulations. Excellent problem solving, verbal and written communication skills and fluency in Word and Excel required. BUSINESS OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Responsible for assisting the Director of Business Operations with a variety of tasks, with a strong focus on monitoring parent fee activities to ensure maximum revenue collections and compliance with EEC Financial Assistance regulations; A/R reporting related to parent fees activities; issue fiscal terminations for non-payment of fees, process weekly Family Child Care Educator invoices; enter attendance for EEC billing and other related tasks.

SUBSTITUTE BUS MONITOR
Community Action’s Parent-Child Development Center is seeking substitute Bus Monitors in Amherst, Northampton, Orange, Turners Falls, Ware and Westfield. Bus Monitors assist infants, toddlers, and preschoolers on and off the school bus. Bus routes run 1 ½ - 3 hrs during the early mornings, midday, and late afternoons. Must be able to engage children in positive social behaviors; assist children to their seats and secure them safely; safely unload children and release to their authorized adult; work cooperatively with the driver, staff, and parents; and maintain a professional and positive attitude. All applicants must be at least 18 yrs. old and have reliable transportation to meet the bus. Prospective employees must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and successfully pass a background check, plus submit a current physical. CPR and First Aid certified preferred.
