Complies with the requirements of ASTM D 41 Type I.

Asphalt Roof Coating (Regular and Fast

Drying)

A solvent-born bituminous compound of brushable consistency, dries to a tough, black coating, which does not flow under summer heat. A general purpose waterproofing and damp-proofing coating.

Used as a primer where concrete surfaces are porous

Provides protection against corrosion.

Recommended where the threat of frost or rain precludes the use of an emulsion

Complies with the requirements of ASTM D4479 Type II and BS 3416.

Covers approximately 1.6 m²/liter. Supplied in 20 and 200 liter drums.

BONDING ASPHALT

For MASTIC ASPHALT on Roofs

Properties

Produced by air blowing of petroleum residues. It is mixed in-place with other components like limestone aggregate, cement and hydrated lime to give a waterproofing material, solid or semi-solid under normal weather conditions.

Softens gradually when heated to 200°C, so it can be spread easily on the roofs.

Used in the construction of built-up roofing as waterproofing and adhesive layer

Type I & IV complies with ASTM D 312. Supplied in 180 kg steel drums.

Properties

STEELCOAT

For protecting iron and steel

A hot applied bitumen based coating with inert non-fibrous fillers. It is solid at the normal

temperatures, and softens gradually when heated turning into a very viscous liquid at about 130˚C. At higher temperatures the viscosity drops, turning the mixture into a thin and easy to apply liquid. Used to provide a protective layer over steel pipes and fittings against corrosion. Complies with requirements of the BS4147: Type A-Grade B.

STEELPRIME

For protecting iron and steel

A primer for cold application over iron and steel, consisting of a homogeneous solution of bitumen in a fast drying solvent. When dry, it provides an effective bond between the metal and the subsequent coating. Complies with the requirements of BS4147: Type A-Grade B.
