Headteacher’s Message
Dear Parents,
Welcome back - I hope you all had a wonderful summer break.
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome all our new pupils starting this term and our new teacher in Year 2, Ms Lingard-Lane.
It was lovely to return to school on Wednesday, in the sunshine, with the children looking so smart and excited about their new year.
As you will have noticed, the works to the exterior of our school have continued throughout the summer and the building is beginning to look amazing with new windows and doors too.
All the children (and staff!) were excited to see our new climbing frame installed and ready to be played on. A huge thank you to the School Council of the last two years, Mrs Young and Mr Whiting for their hard work on the project, as well as to others for their financial contributions.
We’re looking forward to another exciting year ahead, with lots of new projects to look forward to, one of which is the continued development of our outside areas to further enhance our curriculum and to extend the learning opportunities for all of our children. We will keep you updated.
Thank you for your continued support. Best wishes,

Over the summer holidays we had our new play equipment installed!
This would not have been possible without the fundraising efforts of the School Council and the generous donations from the Daisie Rich Trust, Newport Grammar School Charity and the Isle of Wight Council.
We will be inviting our benefactors in next week so that children and staff can show their appreciation and extend their thanks.
