Kaitlyn Petteway is a student in TBC’s Interdisciplinary Studies program. From High Springs, Florida, Kaitlyn came to Trinity looking for a small Christian college where she could get to know her professors on a personal level.
Growing up in a churched family, Kaitlyn was rooted in her faith. But as she grew older and matured she realized that all she knew about Christianity was in the context of her family and church circle… she felt sure there had to be more to it and she wanted to be part of it!
Kaitlyn is excited about how her future has been influenced through her time at TBC. She says, “Coming here has expanded my horizons and I have come to a better understanding of the gospel and what is means for the world.”
The conviction that “there must be more to it” and the courage to discover what that could mean for her has led to a future in missions.
Kaitlyn was recently commissioned through Converge International as well as her fiancée, Jeshua Moore (TBC grad ’20). They plan to serve together in Benin, West Africa.

Located in sunny Jacksonville, Florida, Trinity Baptist College has been educating students since 1974. With a student/faculty ratio of just 13:1, students at TBC are immersed in a caring community and are known and cared for by their professors.At TBC, we want students to become more like Christ no matter what program of study they choose to pursue. ATHLETICS
Trinity offers 7 sports teams that compete in NCCAA Division II athletics.
TBC also offers a variety of organized intramural sports.

Playing soccer at TBC has many perks, but the best one of them all is the road trips you take with your team and on those road trips, the bonding with the players while on the road.

MUSIC
Students with musical talent have access to many venues in which to use their gifts. These opportunities are open to all majors! LifeSong is TBC’s premier traveling music team, and Chapel Band leads worship in chapel on a weekly basis. Additionally, students at TBC have the opportunity to become involved with Sunday morning worship services at both Trinity Baptist Church’s Hammond and Oakleaf locations. There are also opportunities for involvement with college Chamber Ensemble as well as worship in one of our weekly young adults services.
