Turn off access control for circulation spaces (not reception doors, plant rooms, instrument stores, external doors etc) as the building is closed to the public to reduce number of times someone must touch a card reader.

RCM Facilities staff to conduct regular spot checks to ensure cleaning RAMS being adhered to at all times. Daily briefings with daytime cleaning team.

Daily reports required from day and overnight cleaning supervisors regarding product supply (inc. PPE) and any concerns.

Tenon FM employees to work in fixed teams and staggered working patterns and breaks wherever possible to minimize risk of infection.

Tenon FM management to review needs of their employees and to provide suitable PPE. RCM Facilities to supply additional PPE if and when required.

Clear and regular

communication between Tenon FM management/staff and Facilities management/staff to ensure safe working

conditions, to prevent unnecessary risks and to mitigate any concerns.

No known current cases of Covid-19 on RCM campus or amongst RCM staff or students.

Any cases found to be reported immediately under RIDDOR and internal

investigation done to track the person’s movement and connections on campus.

Bulk of cleaning staff will operate overnight with only two security guards also occupying the site.

In rising stages, cleaning of campus to be localized and intensified in key areas of usage to enable sufficient time and care for safe working.

- All cleaning equipment and clinical waste bags must be collected before entering the space.

- Any cloths and mop heads used must be

disposed of as single use items.

- Before entering the room, hand hygiene must be carried out and

disposable plastic apron and gloves worn.

- Bag all items used by the person as clinical waste (e.g. bin contents). This should be quarantined until test results known. If confirmed, contact local HPT.

- Remove any fabric curtains or screens and bag as infectious linen.

- Disinfect all hard surfaces, furniture, doors using a suitable detergent disinfectant solution (1000 ppm av.chlorine).

- If carpets cannot withstand chlorine- releasing agents, consult manufacturer for suitable alternative process.

- Discard PPE as clinical waste.

- Perform hand hygiene.
