Service Level Agreement Reporting

An optional plug-in module for Advanced Automation Suite enables companies to generate Service Level Agreement (SLA) reports for management.

We have used a unique methodology for managing and reporting on service level agreements allowing companies to quickly identify through ‘SLA flags’ which aspects of the service level agreement are not being met. This means these issues can be investigated with the minimum of delay which is an important factor particularly for IT outsourcing companies who need to demonstrate the value of their services to their clients.

Companies can select performance statistics that are important to their operations and choose to have these displayed on screen, for example, CPU, ASP%, pool transitions, jobs, batch jobs and response times. Individual users can also create their own tailored views of performance statistics.

This provides a full anaylsis of all disk resources including the IFS, using flexible build processes for improved efficiency and reduced build time. User-defined Applications allow you to create a named collection of libraries, folders and/or directories which can then be analyzed as a single unit. The Halcyon Enterprise Console is a centralized GUI, providing a real-time focal point for all your cross-platform monitoring, allowing you to view and respond directly to, messages and alerts generated by IBM i®, AIX®, Windows® and Linux® servers. It can also manage alerts from other key agent-less hardware such as hubs, routers and switches.

Replies can be given to messages and alerts closed from the central console while color-coded options help identify different servers and/or different types of alerts. Comprehensive filters can escalate actions, change severity and forward alerts.

Mobile Monitoring

Halcyon’s Enterprise Console, included free of charge with Advanced Automation Suite, can also be used remotely on your Apple® or Android® smartphone or tablet device.

Free ‘Apps’, developed by Halcyon, allow you the freedom of being able to remotely monitor and respond to messages and alerts received from your servers and devices across your organization’s network.

Use the Enterprise Console ‘App’ to view the current status of your entire network, even when you are not at your desk. Follow up any messages received on the Console by sending an email, SMS text or forwarding into an integrated helpdesk application.
