THE BACKGROUND

St. Christopher’s School has always been at the forefront of introducing new technologies into its learning environment. It approached VII Tech Solutions to introduce a mobile application for its students’ parents.

St. Christopher’s School

THE CHALLENGE

The objective of the project was to develop a mobile application which would provide the school with the means to communicate with the parents of its students, and make this vital information available in the mobile realm.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions developed a native mobile application on both iOS and Android mobile platforms, linking them to the school’s “Web Parent Portal”, along with the development of an online “Web Admin Portal”, which provides extra control over the apps.

The application not only provides all notifications and alerts to parents, but is also a means to view all their child(ren)’s information; from attendance, timetable, school calendar and school reports.

Ministry of Industry & Commerce

Mobile App

TECHNOLOGY MEDIA

THE BACKGROUND

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry & Commerce provides the public - through its website - with commercial registration services, applications follow-up, commodities indexes. This was needed to be brought to the mobile world.

THE CHALLENGE

The objective of the project was to develop a mobile application which would provide the same services provided by the Ministry via its website to mobile devices, linking its databases and enabling the updates to be reflected through the same administration panel to both the website and mobile applications.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions developed a native mobile application on both iOS and Android mobile platforms, linking the Ministry’s services through web services to the mobile apps.

VII Tech Solutions still handles the maintenance and further development of these apps.

Young Consumer Website

TECHNOLOGY CREATIVE MEDIA

THE BACKGROUND

The Consumer Protection Directorate at the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Ministry of Industry & Commerce needed a website that would reach out to the younger consumers (aged 15-10) to better educate them about consumer rights.

THE CHALLENGE

The project required the development of an entertaining and educational website, combining both motion and original designs & characters which kids could eventually relate to, in addition to providing the Directorate with the administration tools to manage the content and message.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions first provided the creative direction, and the original designs and characters of the website, which was first developed using Adobe Flash in 2009.

The website was then redeveloped in 2012 using HTML5 to make it mobile-friendly, along with a revamp of the administration panel to provide further control over the additional functionalities.

THE BACKGROUND

The Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Oil & Gas Holding Company required a secure online portal that would allow it to manage its lengthy and cumbersome projects, providing both a document and communication management tool.

THE CHALLENGE

The project required an online portal which could manage multiple projects, multiple users with varying access privileges. It also needed to provide a means to manage documents, discussions, and message boards.

Furthermore, the nogaholding website needed to be revamped to provide a better content management tool for administrators.

THE SOLUTION

In spite of the time constraint, VII Tech Solutions managed to provide an online projects management portal - built from scratch - to the client, providing all the needs and requirements, along with a fully revamped website, which the client can easily update and manage.

THE BACKGROUND

Kiswah Fashion is a startup business established in 2012 by an aspiring fashion designer, specialising in traditional Moroccan Women Clothing (Jallabiyas).

THE CHALLENGE

The project revolved around assisting Kiswah Fashion in defining its brand identity and providing all the collaterals required to kickstart the business.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions provided the client with a full-fledged Brand Identity Development Package, starting with the guidance and creative direction for its brand, followed by the logo design, brand guidelines, and the design of all the brand collaterals ranging from stationery to packagings.

“The Story of

Pearls” Book

THE BACKGROUND

Mattar Jewellers is a Bahraini family business built through an accumulation of family experience and involvement in the pearling industry in Bahrain spanning at least six generations.

THE CHALLENGE

Mattar Jewellers approached VII Tech Solutions to design a book showcasing the rich pearling history in Bahrain, the family’s involvement in it, along with the wide range of pearl jewellery products.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions undertook the creative design and direction for the book, in addition to providing complete photography and photo-editing services. Furthermore, assistance was provided towards the authorship and editing of the content.

Kuwait Finance House Intranet

THE BACKGROUND

With a large employee base in its offices in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kuwait Finance House required an internal portal to be launched to facilitate communication and collaboration amongst its employees.

THE CHALLENGE

Kuwait Finance House needed its internal portal to be developed based on Microsoft SharePoint Server, providing a hierarchical structure based on its departmental organisational chart, allowing communication and collaboration at both a company level and department level.

THE SOLUTION

VII Tech Solutions worked closely with the client to first identify the individual needs of twenty departments within its organisation. This was followed by the development of a “company” page, and unique department pages tailored to the needs of each of these departments, and further customised based on unique employee access privileges.

Vortex Gaming Center is the largest video gaming center in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Established in 2013, the focus was on marketing the center’s services both physically and virtually.
