Peace of mind

Your security on solid foundations

The G4S Patrol & Response service is designed to

help minimise the risk of theft, damage or attack on

your business by offering an efficient and reliable

security solution.

As the UK’s leading security company, we are proud to hold NSI Gold certification for all our operations. Our dedicated Patrol & Response team brings you specialist expertise and market-leading resources.

Whatever your location or industry, we’ll work with you to develop the optimum solution. Based on your priorities and budget, we can manage services including CCTV monitoring, patrols, lock and unlock, keyholding, alarm response and lone worker protection - all backed by 24/7 customer support.

Local and responsive – wherever you are

Extensive UK coverage means we will have an operational base in your area. Our well-established infrastructure is always growing, and local management teams match impeccable quality with local focus. By recruiting from the communities around us, we are able to combine familiarity with your neighbourhood with total G4S professionalism.

Local pharmacy chain

The vast majority of our customers have a local or regional market base that means they rely on a consistently excellent service delivery on their ‘doorstep’. This pharmacy chain has multiple outlets within a 50-mile radius. We deliver a mix of mobile response, supervised lock and unlock services, secure key holding and staff escorting to mitigate security and safety risks.

Security is a personal as well as a corporate issue, so we get to know your company culture, concerns and priorities before making recommendations. By talking through all the potential options, we can develop the optimum blend of services and personnel to protect your security vulnerabilities.

Keep your employees safe

Companies in the UK are required by law to fulfill a ‘duty of care’ to the people they employ. Services such as alarm response (as the key holder or escort) shield your employees from potentially dangerous situations. Lone worker protection is especially important for those working alone for prolonged periods of time, at night and often in remote places. We will work as a reliable part of your team, available 24/7/365 if your people need back up, advice or assistance. Many companies choose to give their lone employees personal devices, so that they can alert our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) if they feel threatened or concerned by anti-social, suspicious behaviour or attack.

Confidence

The security experts on your side

As the world’s largest security company, our success has

stemmed from our focus on people.

What is most alarming for business owners is the levels of violence associated with theft. We would urge all businesses to do what they can to reduce the risk of becoming a victim – a big loss can be devastating for business in both financial and emotional terms.

Keep your assets safe

Infrastructure and assets like buildings, land, stock and vehicles need robust day-and-night protection from theft, vandalism and trespass. Avoid the inconvenience and often considerable cost of repairing damage and funding replacements by taking preventative measures. Our diverse array of patrols, inspections and vacant property protection will give you confidence that your premises and possessions are under expert care and scrutiny.

Through our lock and unlock and keyholding services, we can take full responsibility for access to your premises. We can remove the risk to your employees by opening and closing the premises on your behalf. This can also include switching off lights and equipment to save you energy and money.

Local charity

Our customer requires a single premises to be locked and unlocked on time every time, and for G4S to respond as soon as possible in the event of an intruder alarm activation. Through this service, our customer is able to mitigate the risks associated with staff holding keys. Combined with other initiatives, they have been able to significantly reduce the lone worker risks previously endured.

Qualities you can rely on

You can rest assured that G4S is committed to employing a highly skilled workforce who are acutely aware of their responsibilities. We are proud of the calibre of our mobile response officers, who are thoroughly vetted and trained in security and first aid. It takes initiative, integrity and fortitude to excel in this role and to live up to the trust our customers place in us. Our teams are capable of handling the most volatile and sensitive situations.

SME retailer

A customer on a trading estate had unfortunately encountered ongoing vandalism and anti-social behaviour. We support their business by carrying out sporadic visits throughout the night and weekend, advertising that the premises is monitored by professionals. The random nature of the patrols makes it difficult to plan an incursion and as the service is shared with other local businesses, it is very cost-effective.

Your business can take advantage of our real-time data and audit trail of incidents and actions taken. You can use our information to support your decision making which gives you the opportunity to analyse risks, trends and performance.

Cost efficiency and value

We understand that cost control is a top priority for any business, especially in today’s competitive environment.

Our dedicated team will look closely at your needs to identify the best way to achieve your goals, whatever the constraints. We will consider where savings could be made to avoid any waste of resources. The pricing structure is designed to deliver quality and professionalism at a fair price, and options like local service sharing can often be arranged to further reduce your spend.

To make your budget as effective as possible, we add value at every opportunity. The aim is to reduce disruption, downtime, loss, damage and overheads. By supporting your employees and sharing the burden of risk and responsibility, we free them up to work to their full potential.
