Summary of the presentation-description of the activity
Those events took place from 12th to 15th of March in classrooms of the High School of Ialysos, the 1st High School of Rhodes, the 3rd High School of Rhodes and the 4th High School of Rhodes. Students in the 3rd grade of High School actively participate in those events. Particularly, one week prior the events ~300 students fulfilled questionnaires about the brain and Neurosciences. The results from the questionnaires were presented in the following presentation, so that the students had the chance to compare there own answers to answers of their peers.
Considering the event, students who had previously fulfilled the questionnares:
-Attended a brief video about the basic anatomy of the brain and had the chance to come in contact with a small brain model!
-The video was followed by a presentation about “Brain and Behavior”. In this presentation Maria Mavrikaki presented the results of the questionnaire and students were updated about the answers in all those questions. The aim was to stimulate students and improve their knowledge about the functions and the complexity of human brain!
-Following the presentation, students had the chance to participate in neuropsychological projective tasks that aimed to “train their brain” and improve their understanding about how the brain process stimuli. Students performed a brief
Considering the results of the questionnaires that were fulfilled by the students, the best answer in the question which is the major function of the brain is that the brain is the “manager” of human’s body!

6 Description of Activity
Infant’s creative activity- 3rd
Preliminary School of Ialysos of Rhodes. Today I learned that my brain is like plasticine which can change! In addition, I learned that every part of my brain can do different things. I learned that the frontal part help me to think, the upper part help me to walk, the part in the back help me to see, and the part inner of my ear help me to hear!
Today, I learned that my brain looks like plasticine since it can also change!
Infants learned that our brain is the most important organ of our body and we have to protect it. So, infants painted a child that wears a helmet to protect his brain! The drawing was from The Mindboggling Workbook (DANA Alliance for Brain Initiatives). I am thinking I am moving I can se e I can hear
