NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS
A recording fee of 50¢ for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Livensed or Member Club Show or Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11, Section 2). An AKC recording fee of $3.50 1st entry and $3.00 additional entry of same dog will be required for each entry in Rally. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3). These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. The Vizsla Club of America, Inc. assumes no responsibility for the owner or owner’s agent entering a dog in a class in which it is not eligible to compete, or for entering the same dog twice. The club and its members assume no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner’s agent. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry. The returned items must be made good by cash or money order before the dog will be allowed in the ring.
No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies a condition as to its acceptance.
Entries not on official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are not acceptable. INCLUDE ONLY AKC/VCA TITLES ON ENTRY.
Exhibitors identification tickets and judging programs will be mailed to the address given on the entry blank. If not received within the time prior to the show, notify Jack Onofrio, PO Box 25764, Oklahoma City, OK 73125-0764. Tickets returned by the post office marked
“undeliverable” will be held at the Show Secretary’s desk. Please bring your identification tickets to the show.
Owners are to have their dogs ready to go into the ring promptly, so judging will not be delayed. Dogs only need to be present for their own judging. Dogs not needed for further judging are excused. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have his/her dog ready at ringside when the steward calls the class. Owners and/or their handlers are responsible for making sure their dog is present in the ring. This means it is not the responsibility of the ring steward, nor any agent, nor the show-giving club to locate any dog, its owner or handler. There is no American Kennel Club or club rule requiring a judge to wait for an owner or handler to enter the ring.
Owners must familiarize themselves with the agreement of the American Kennel Club referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this premium list. Rule books are available at the show or individual copies may be obtained free from the AKC, 8051 Arco Corpo-rate Drive, Suite 100, Raleigh, NC 27617-3390.
The club and its officers or members will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, whether the result of accident or other causes. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care, custody and control of its owner or handler during the entire time of the national events. The club, its officers or members will not assume any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor or agent.
Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by veterinarian or judge, barred from competition by action of the show committee, or because the dog is ineligible to compete due to being entered incorrectly. There is no entry fee refund for duplicate entry or for bitches in season (except for those entered in Obedience and Rally). Any exhibitor with a bitch entered in Obedience or Rally, which is in season on the trial date, will be refunded one-half of the obedience or rally entry fee paid. Written notification must be in the hands of the Show Secretary no later than one half hour before the start of the trial.
The Vizsla Club of America, Inc. may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the club or any official thereof.
Entry fees will not be refunded if it is impossible to open or complete the show because of riots, civil disturbances, fires, extreme and or dangerous weather conditions, an act of God, public emergency, acts of a public enemy, or other acts or cause beyond the control of the club or the Show Secretary.
Foreign exhibitors must submit entries with checks drawn on U.S. accounts or with international money orders in U.S. funds.
