Project Timeline
2014- 2017
Our projected construction commencement date is December 2014. This will allow sufficient time for completion of the loan, finalization of engineering plans, selecting a general contractor and sub-contractors and securing all necessary permits.
We anticipate the project to be completed by December of 2016. The 24 month timeline is a little generous by our estimations and research. The Georgia International team provided a few extra months so the quality, functionality and aesthetic appeal are maximized prior to opening.
Our target grand opening and celebration is January 1, 2017, enabling Georgia
International Raceway Park, Americus and the surrounding communities to kick off 2017 with a bang. By that time, our team will have booked and planned many exciting events to take advantage of the excitement of the track. Then, as the best racers do, our
professional team will look through the windshield, as if there is no rear view mirror, driving hard toward the everlasting finish line of being the best motorsports complex America has to offer.
