 General objective: providing students with a managerial overview of the young and emerging study of innovation for the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP). The course provide participants with the opportunity to: 1) understand the characteristics of consumers at the BoP and the strategies and dynamics of innovation, 2) apply theory to specific cases in order to use new and promising business frameworks, and 3) increase awareness about an important topic for the search of new business opportunities as well as for corporate social responsibility.

 Responsibilities: developing all the material for the courses (presentations, exams, selecting the cases, etc.), directing the learning-by-doing process (meeting with the students and managing an electronic forum), and teaching all the courses.

MNG-8007: « Knowledge Value Chain Management » and MNG-7007: “Knowledge and innovation management”, Ph. D. degree, Laval University (Winter 2012 and 2013):

 General objective: raising students’ awareness about theories, models and tools of knowledge management, knowledge transfer and innovation. The subject covered are related to the economical and technological approaches linked to the knowledge management and notably the knowledge value chain; the complementarities between the strategies of innovation and internationalisation; and the determinant of the knowledge utilization in both manufacturing firms and public organisations.

 Responsibilities: directing the students from the writing of a theoretical article on knowledge management to its submission to a conference, updating the material for the courses (presentations, exams, online website, selecting the cases, etc.), directing the learning-by-doing process (meeting with the students and managing an electronic forum), and teaching all the courses.
