GRAMPIAN FAMILY SUPPORT SURVEY 2014

If someone misuses drugs and/or alcohol in a problematic way, it affects the people

around them, e.g. their families, partners, friends and communities. They may need

support for themselves to cope with the situation but also to help their loved one to

cope with the problems associated with their addiction. Currently only a small

percentage of family members, partners, friends seek help. When they do they might

not find appropriate support available for them in their area.

Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs has recently appointed a Grampian

Family Support Development Officer (contact details below). Their role is to develop a

wider range of family support services in Grampian to help families affected by a loved

one's/someone else's alcohol and/or drug misuse.

You can complete this questionnaire on Survey Monkey (online) through the following

link:-
