Believers Fellowship Women

s Ministry

Women’s Ministry at Believers Fellowship exists to support the mission statement of our church: to glorify God by living and sharing the grace and truth of Jesus Christ. How do we do this? By

offering women opportunities to connect and grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, by creating safe places to share, pray, fellowship and study together, and by offering outreach events and service opportunities.

In the following pages you will find current Bible study and fellowship groups for women. Many of the groups are continually “open” meaning you can jump in at any time. We want you to find a place to connect! Don’t forget to check out our brochure on Service Groups for ways to serve within our body. Women’s Ministries at Believers Fellowship is

headed up by a team of women with hearts for you! We welcome your ideas and suggestions. Beyond all the planning and organizing we do, we are women praying for women. This is our first mission because we know that the Holy Spirit intercedes on our behalf bringing our petitions before the Lord and He hears our needs. Our hearts are full when we see women growing in Christ! Emily Roy

In her book,Teaching from Rest: A Homeschooler’s

Guide to Unshakeable Peace, Sarah Mackenzie

shows us how to do this important, edifying, and meaningful work in a way that feels more fulfilling and a little less frenzied. It’s been a game-changer for our family! I’d love the chance to connect with some of you over this incredible book. While it was written for weary homeschool moms, much of what she writes would be encouraging and helpful for moms of remote learners, too. All are welcome to join!

Meet on Sundays in the Fellowship Room after second service for three consecutive Sundays. Plan on bringing a brown bag lunch!

“It’s easy to forget that teaching is holy work. We forget that building up the intellect—teaching our children to really think— does not happen by the might of human reason, but rather by the grace of God. On an ordinary day, you and I likely have a set of tasks we’ve scheduled for our kids. But it’s more than math. It’s more than history. It’s the building up of our children’s minds and hearts.”
