Children’s Council of Watauga County This organization works with children
primarily between the ages of birth to 5. They offer many services that will benefit not only your child but you as a parent. This is a faith-based organization that provides women with the information and support they need for an unplanned pregnancy. Abortion information is offered from a pro-life

High Country Community Health
The HCCH offers primary care to those either insured or uninsured. Extended clinic hours are available depending on the day as well as a 24/7 answering service operated by nurses. Hospice
Hospice offers support and care for those with life-limiting illnesses and their families. They have a few different programs to help grieving loved ones cope with the loss of someone. Some of the programs are Camp Sunshine, for kids 5-12 years old, and Embers Retreat, for kids 13-18 years old. Both of these events are free.
