Course Description:  To provide participants with an introduction to the Ellipse system, its integration, and key concepts.

 To provide participants with the skills to navigate, search, and review data within Ellipse and, through practical exercises, the integration of Ellipse across business streams.

Course Length: 2 days

Intended Audience: All new Ellipse users.

Prerequisites: No prior Ellipse knowledge is required, however ERP systems experience is recommended.

Course Description: The Ellipse Functional System Administration course focuses on the management and configuration settings of the front end of the Ellipse application (technical system administration is addressed in the Technical Training).

Course Length: 4 days

Intended Audience: All individuals associated with non-technical system administration, implementation or consulting.

Prerequisites: Ellipse Foundation Course. Basic understanding of client-server architecture. Familiarity with the Ellipse functional streams and basic objects.

Ellipse enables major operational and capital expenditures to be controlled independently of the normal organisational reporting hierarchy. Ellipse Projects support both engineering and accounting requirements. Actual costs,

commitments, and budget amounts are automatically accumulated up the project hierarchy.

The Ellipse Contracts Management module is designed to support the

management and administration of works, service, and supply contracts as well as consultant engagements. Contract types from major construction to minor works and consulting engagements can be administered through the system. These contracts can be lump-sum, schedule-of-rates, or a combination of these. The module consists of online applications to record the contract details, contract items, variations, and valuations from its creation to its completion.
