Experiment: i) Cooling Curve: To study the fall in temperature of a body (like hot water or liquid in calorimeter) with time. Find the slope of curve at four different temperatures of hot body and hence deduce Newton’s Law of cooling.

ii) To syudy the variation in frequency of air column with length using resonance column apparatus or long cylinder and set of tuning forks. Hence determine velocity of sound in air at room temperature.
