Daily Learning Menu Kindergarten

If you have internet on a phone, tablet or computer, interact with your teacher on Seesaw to see

activities and upload your work each day. To sign in to Seesaw:

Go to:

Then, login into Seesaw with your QR code or username and password.

If you are in regular contact with your teacher, then

they should guide you on how to best use this Learning Menu.

If you are not in regular contact with your teacher, then you can use this Daily Learning Menu to guide your own learning.

ELA Do 2 Each Day

Monday through Friday

Phonological Awareness and/or Phonics

SHOULD DO from Home Learning Packet:

• Read your word dash 2 times

• Read your tricky words 2 times

• Watch Reading League: Word Fun with Kelli and Katie on WCNY at 2:30pm

• Listen for words that rhyme when you say them aloud, such as fun, sun; hat, cat; fish, wish

• Look for Letters in environmental print – Signs, packages, labels, book titles

Reading / Writing

• Read the passage 2 times AND…

Exercise for 60 minutes.

Warm up: Pick 5 different muscles to stretch. Hold each stretch for 20 seconds.

Our Focus: Moving our body in different ways along various pathways.

Try This: Lay a paper towel tube down/pool noodle and try to:

-skip around it. (Curved)

-Hop along the side of the noodle. (Straight) -Lay another tube down and jump to a new noodle. (Zig-zag)

-Leap over your new noodle.

Check your teachers Seesaw for an

assignment from your teacher.

Remember to watch WCNY every day from

10:00-10:30 for more Health and Physical

Art & Music

Complete 1 art activity and 1 music activity this week.

Check your Art & Music class on Seesaw for an assignment from your

teacher. If you don’t have access to Seesaw or there isn’t an assignment,

try the following:

• Art – To celebrate Earth Day this week, collect elements from nature that you find in your yard like leaves, sticks, and pinecones. See if you can make a sun with them (a circle with rays sticking out). Log it in your tracker and share your sun with a family member or a friend and with your teacher!

• Music – Watch and participate along with Mr. Dorsey’s Music World

Kindergarten episode on WCNY at 4 pm. Log it in your tracker. See full schedule and channels at wcny.org/tvclassroom/
