General Construction

Zo is built from wood composite board that is 100% recycled industrial by-product from local milling operations located within our Pacific Northwest region. The wood board contains 90-95% recycled content that in turn may be recycled again. Boards are finished with GreenGuard™ certified laminates. Laminates are fused to surfaces using water-based, non toxic and ultra-low VOC emitting adhesive. Zo’s steel legs have recycled content of over 80%, and are 100% recyclable.

For durability and improved aesthetics, storage side panels are banded all the way around. Side panels are set flush to the top and bottom of the case, and all fasteners are fully concealed.

Drawers

Drawer bodies are constructed of 16-gauge cold rolled steel side walls, ½” thick wood composite board bottom and back for maximum load and rigidity. This construction requires no adhesive for 100% dissemblance for end of life recycling. All drawers feature 180 lb ball bearing suspensions (BIFMA tested to 40,000 cycles).

Lateral drawers, ship with Lateral Rail Filing Kit to optimize full drawer volume with side-to-side filing. Precise placement file bar retainers and ⅛ x 1” hardened aluminum rails.

A pencil tray is included with every case that has a 15 inch wide box drawer.

When attached, the worksurface height is fixed at 29½" high. A Zo Side bracket may be used opposite a Zo Ped riser, eliminating the need for legs on both sides of the worksurface.

All Zo Denza storage ships cable ready, allowing the user to direct wires through the cabinet and manage them seamlessly. Zo Denza units are built with grommets and pass-throughs to accommodate daily plug and go devices.

Note — when selecting a Zo Denza with no base, access to cables from the bottom of the unit is reduced.

Cable Ready Zo Denza back panels have a 5/8 inch gap at the top, shelves inset 1⅛ inches from the back, and pass-through cut- outs on all vertical dividers.

Back Grain Direction — The grain direction on most cabinet backs is horizontal. Zo Stak and Zo Sto case backs are vertical. All case sides are vertical.

Contrasting Laminates Upcharges

When Zo is specified in all Storage Laminate (either with contrasting or non-contrasting case and face finishes) there is no upcharge. However, Zo can be specified with a Surface Laminate on the door or drawer face. Using a Surface Laminate on the door/drawer face incurs a $140 upcharge.

Please note: The drawer/door face edge requires a Storage Laminate as the finish. If the door/drawer face is specified in Surface Laminate, the face edge will match the case. If the door/drawer face is specified in Storage Laminate, the face edge will match the door/drawer face.
