OneDrive Properties

iOS iPad or iPhone, add a photo or video by tapping the more button next to the OneDrive app, then tap add items and choose what file you want to upload.

Android tablet or phone, add photos or videos by opening the OneDrive app, tap the UPLOAD button, choose the files that you want and then tap upload.

Windows phone Press and hold the photo or video you want to add, tap share, tap OneDrive, then tap upload.

Adding your files to OneDrive

Open your OneDrive app, tap or click the folder you want to add files to.

•

Swipe top or bottom edge of the screen or right-click to open the app commands, tap or click Add files.

•

Browse the files you want to upload, and tap or click Copy to OneDrive.

•

Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, select Settings, and change settings.

•

For documents, tap or click OneDrive, turn on Save documents to OneDrive by default.

•

For photos, tap or click Camera roll, and choose Upload photos at your chosen resolution.

•

Swipe down or right-click files or folders to select them.

•

Tap or click Share.

•

To share with specific individuals or groups, choose Invite people. To share with lots of people, choose Get a link.

You can access your files from any device even if something happens to your device. Just go to the OneDrive website, or you can use one of the mobile apps for Android, iOS or Windows phone.

From video games to movie special effects, 3D graphics drives today’s entertainment. Carl Kadie, Ph.D., a research developer in Microsoft Research was curious to know how a computer knows where on the screen to put the little dots of colour. With a bit of experimentation in Excel, he got a lovely cube that can be controlled by changing a few numbers in Excel.

With only a few clicks, plot more than a million rows of data,

visualise the data with 3D columns, pie charts, heat maps, and regions. The news that the Rosetta spacecraft made the closest approach ever to the Comet 67P, inspired the Excel Power Map team. They used the custom map feature to plot the trajectory of Earth, Mars, Comet 67P and Rosetta.
