The International Business course includes a two-week trip to Europe or the Far East to visit the head-quarters of multi-national compa-nies. Students travel to cities such as London, Paris, Brussels, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bejing, Shanghai, Delhi and Mumbai. Meet decision makers at such organizations as the European Union, Jaguar Cars, Coca-Cola, and Rohm and Haas.

Students can specialize in business administration, finance, health care management, international busi-ness, marketing or taxation, but all programs focus on global business issues. Students in any MBA spe-cialty can enroll in the International Business course and participate in the international business trip.

Each MBA candidate chooses a specialized field of study from six options. Those who need grounding in basic business functions also fulfill Foundation Course Requirements. The formal MBA program is 33 credit hours, as follows:

Dean’s Scholarships

Philadelphia University offers academic scholarships for quali-fied students entering the MBA program. These scholarships are offered through the dean of the School of Business Administration. The Dean’s Scholarships are based on a combination of the candidate’s undergraduate GPA and GMAT score. These scholarships are awarded upon enrollment in graduate courses and continue through to the comple-tion of the degree for a maximum of four years. The scholarship amounts range from a $50 to $200 reduction per MBA credit for all 33 credits of MBA study.

Getting Started

>>

If you have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, you are eligible to apply for admis-sion to the Philadelphia University MBA program. Individuals from a variety of academic backgrounds are admitted. We use a rolling admis-sions process so you can apply at any time during the year and, if accepted, begin classes in the fall, spring or summer semester.

International Applicants

International students may begin in either the fall or spring semester. International students must take and submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), scoring a minimum of 550 on the paper-based test or a 213 on the computer-based test.
