This stage is dedicated to understanding your exact needs, reviewing your current and desired processes and scheduling each stage of implementation leading up to your ‘go-live’ date! This step takes place remotely and is led by your personal Business Solutions Consultant. Kick-off call to give you an overview of emPerform’s proven implementation & training processes
‘Getting Started’ documents are sent to help you prepare the data and details you’ll need for emPerform (things like organizational structure, employee information and review role assignments, goals, competencies, rating scales, and any other content you would like used in emPerform) Of course – if you would like to start from scratch we have best-practice templates to help!
Processes, content, and appraisal forms are reviewed and enhanced to suit your needs Implementation & training schedule is built to fit your calendar
Step 2 – Design
Let’s get things moving!
This stage is designed to mold emPerform and all of its wonders to your exact needs. Our experts handle most for you based on Step 1 but some is done with you so that you are trained on how to maintain and modify emPerform if you ever need to – how great is that?
emPerform is configured with your company’s branding
Employee review workflows are mapped out, evaluated, and setup in emPerform. You’ll never have to remind a manager to submit a review again!
Any technical requirements like Single Sign-on, HRIS integration takes place.
Your data and content is imported into emPerform or emPerform content is edited to suit your style. Your appraisal forms are built in emPerform – looking good!

This stage is very important to ensure a successful launch of emPerform. Everything that was created is tested to ensure it works exactly how you dreamed and you and your team is given more training –
so you become emPerform Experts and are able to maintain and manage your new software.
Your new review forms and workflows are tested Any desired tweaks are made
Data is triple checked for accuracy
All Administrators are trained and tested (kidding...there are no tests) Custom end-user training material is created and shared
Any pilot groups are given access Your go-live date is scheduled
Are Technical resources needed for implementation?
If you organization is deploying emPerform on-premise, your IT resource should be available throughout the implementation to address any technical issues.
If your emPerform is being hosted by us (SaaS), your IT resource may still be required to address any possible technical issues relating to your infrastructure such as email whitelisting, proxy issues, end user issues and other miscellaneous issues.
What Administrator resources are required for implementation?
We recommend that at least one team member (emPerform Administrator) be present for the planning and implementation of emPerform and for post-implementation maintenance.

During implementation, the Administrators are required for all on-site or remote training sessions. After implementation, the Administrators will be fully able to:
update data in emPerform (if no HRIS integration is conducted) maintain, copy, and develop appraisal forms
customize and schedule certain reports set up surveys, and
answer end-user questions and more!
It is recommended that emPerform administrators possess only the following technical abilities: Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (for importing and exporting data)
Step 4 – Deployment
This stage is actually very easy. You sit back and watch while emPerform completely automates your performance review processes. Employees and managers are able to login to create goals, make journal notes, rate
competencies, or anything else that was setup in your emPerform. End-user training material completed & distributed

Step 5 – Checkup
Let’s make sure everything is running smoothly. This stage usually takes place after your first entire review cycle. Your Business Solutions Consultant will be available to answer questions, check the status of your processes, provide any suggestions or guidance, and most importantly, hear all of the great improvements you are experiencing with emPerform!
At this stage you will also be put in contact with our Customer Relations Manager, whose role it is to make sure you are happy with emPerform now and down the road.
*emPerform ‘Express’ implementation includes one free annual ‘check-up’.
Step 6 – Success
