If you’re a high school junior with your mind set on college and your heart set on a career, the Early Enrollment Program (EEP) at Johnson & Wales University can give you a head start on your plans.

What is EEP?

The Early Enrollment Program (EEP) for high school juniors allows you to get started on college a year early. You can earn both high school and college credits at the same time, while still participating in your high school activities.

Why should I consider EEP?

Graduate earlier. As an EEP student, you’ll graduate one full year earlier than your

peers and get started on your career sooner.

Tremendous savings. Through EEP, your tuition cost for your first year will be half the regular JWU tuition cost. Plus you’ll be eligible for JWU scholarships

totaling up to 50 percent of any institutional aid you receive.

Enjoy the best of both worlds. You’ll still be able to take part in high school activities

and attend graduation with your class. Plus, you’ll enjoy all the benefits of being a JWU student. You’ll take college classes and have the opportunity to participate in JWU student activities. You’ll also be eligible to live in one of our residence halls.

WHy JoHnson & Wales UnIversIty?

Why are so many students choosing Johnson & Wales University? JWU offers a unique educational experience, which includes

• Career-oriented degree programs, all including real-life work experience • A curriculum that gets you started in your major right away in your

freshman year

• Hands-on learning, from industry-experienced faculty

• Plenty of study abroad programs, from Switzerland to Singapore to Scotland • Dozens of on-campus clubs and athletic opportunities

• Four exciting campuses to choose from, in great U.S. cities: Providence, R.I.; North Miami, Fla.; Denver, Colo.; and Charlotte, N.C.

“I wanted to get a head start, so I came in as an EEP student. And I knew I wanted to study business,

so I picked JWU because of its great reputation as a business school. As a finance major, I was exposed to the ‘real world’ of banking and the

fast-paced stock market system. That’s something I wouldn’t have gotten

at most colleges.” Michelle Mathewson ’08 Financial services Management

“I was attracted to the EEP program because I was ready to become a college student. I needed very few credits to complete my senior year, and I felt as though I would be wasting my time if I stayed. When I began classes at Johnson & Wales, I felt like I was in more control of my life than I did in high school. Coming to school early was one of the best decisions I ever made. I hope more

students will have the same opportunity.” Bristol Powell ’07

“I had no doubt that the EEP program was the right thing for me. I was ready for ‘the college life.’ The university was great about arranging my schedule so that

I could still be involved with high school activities and the college ones as well. When my age group came in as freshmen,

I’d already completed a year of college. I strongly recommend the EEP program to

any student.” sarah Buchanan ’09 sports/entertainment/event

“By developing my own website, I was able to show potential employers all of my credentials, reference letters and my résumé
