Common DU Errors –Credit Provider ID
Fannie Mae Error 111315. Please resubmit. If problem continues,
please call Fannie Mae Customer Contact Center, 1-877-722-6757
Receiving this error means that the incorrect credit provider code was chosen when running credit through RAPID.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error:
1. When entering the Credit
Provider Credentials in the Order Services screen, select
a different Credit Provider ID
Code from the drop down
menu.

Common DU Errors – Case File ID
The Casefile ########## is not associated with the institution ID
specified in the loan application or the default institution ID for the user
Receiving this error means that a Case File ID # transferred from the 3.2 file into RAPID, from a previously run DU. This Case File ID # must be removed from the file before a new DU can be run through RAPID.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error:
1. Access the Loan Summary Info screen
2. Delete the Case File ID # 3. Click Save located in the upper
right hand corner of any screen to save the change
4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error
Common DU Errors – No Cash Out
No Cash Out is no longer a valid refinance purpose
Receiving this error means that there is a loan purpose on the1003 that indicates No Cash-Out.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error: 1. Access the 1003 screen
2. Verify/update the Loan Purpose and Purpose of Refinance fields
3. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change 4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error

Common DU Errors – Sponsor ID
Error Status: 385 Either Lender ID or Sponsored Originator EIN is required
Receiving this error means that the file is missing the Sponsor ID number. Complete the following steps to resolve the error:
1. Access the HUD/VA Addendum screen 2. Enter the Sponsor ID number:
A. When running new DU, enter the Sponsor ID number in the FHA/VA Lender field.
B. When re-issuing DU from another Lender, enter the Sponsor ID number in the
Sponsor Agent ID field
3. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change 4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error
Common DU Errors – DTI
Error Status:DTI at 999.99%
Receiving this error means that the Declaration section of the 1003 is filled out incorrectly for an Owner Occupied Property.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error: 1. Access the 1003 screen
2. Verify that Declaration section line “l” shows Yes on an Owner
Occupied Property
3. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change
4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error
Common DU Errors – Section of Act
Section of the Act is missing of invalid (field GOB-020)
Receiving this error means the Section of the Act on the HUD/VA Addendum screen is missing or invalid.
Complete the following steps to resolve this error: 1. Access the HUD/VA Addendum screen
2. Select the Section of Act from the drop down menu
3. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change 4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error

Common DU Errors – Type of Refinance Missing
Type of Refinance missing or invalid (field GOA-110)
Receiving this error means that the No Cash Out Refi Doc type on the HUD/VA
Addendum screen is missing or invalid.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error: 1. Access the HUD/VA Addendum screen
2. Select the No Cash Out Refi Doc from the drop down menu
3. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change 4. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error
Common DU Errors – REO Property Disposition
REO Property Disposition Code is missing
Receiving this error means that the REO Property Disposition code is missing from the
1003.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error:
1. Access the 1003 screen
2. Double click on the Borrower Real
Estate Owned property line
3. Select the Property Disposition from the drop down menu
4. Click OK
5. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change
6. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error

Common DU Errors – Unmatched REO
Warning: Unmatched REO Asset Id for Liability Type
Receiving this error means the REO is not tied to the mortgage liability on the 1003 screen.
Complete the following steps to resolve the error:
1. Access the 1003 screen 2. Double click on the
Mortgage Liability Type line
3. Select the REO address from the dropdown 4. Click OK
5. Click Save located in the upper right hand corner of any screen to save the change
6. Follow the steps on Page 10 to Re-Submit a previous DU error

After the issues causing the DU error are fixed, the DU request may be resubmitted. Complete the following steps to resubmit:
1. From the Actions icon, select Order Services to access the Order Services screen
2. Choose DU from the Service Type drop down menu 3. Choose Order DU from the Service drop down menu 4. Click on previous error (status field will identify error) 5. Click Resubmit Request
6. Verify the credit Reference Number(s) (this should populate if the credit reference number(s) was added on the Full Credit Summary page).
7. Select the Credit Provider from the drop down menu, enter User Name (account number) and Password used for the credit provider selected.
8. Click Continue
