1. Is Eagle Anywhere available if you are on the Cloud?
Yes, if you are hosted with us it works on a tablet.
2. I have never heard of Eagle Anywhere. Is it available yet?
Yes, it is available for those Eagle retailers utilizing our Hosting service.
3. Are there licensing fees for the mobile devices?
I would suggest that you reach out to your Account Manager. There usually is no up-front fees and is based on a monthly support fee that can be billed as you go or prepaid with a discount.
4. How much does an RF gun cost through Epicor? If we bought one, would we also have to buy additional software to use?
We sell both the RF Gun and the software that runs on the device. Please contact your Account Manager to get additional information.
5. Does this order pick work with picking transfers?
Yes, it works with Transfers.
6. Is there a limit to the number of mobile devices that are being used?
The limit is the amount of licenses you purchase.
7. Is Order Pick and Shipment Verify something new? These do not show on my RF gun.
Yes, they are both new features to Eagle Mobile and I have seen them in use and they work very well.
8. Is there a difference in fees for a mobile device (phone) versus a working station?
Yes, the fee is much lower fee for the mobile device. Please contact your Account Manager who can review pricing with you.
9. Is the order pick only on the RF gun, or is that on mobile devices also?
This is only available on the RF Gun at this time. However, we are looking to expand all RF applications to BYOD products in the future.
10. Are they new to Release 25.1 or purchase options?
11. In Order Pick/Ship Verify, is there a way to exclude labor SKUs so the system isn't looking for users to pick/ship a delivery SKU on every order?
These items aren’t supported in the Order Pick at this time:
Ability to pick kit and bill-of-material items
Ability to pick special order items
Ability to pick buyout items
Ability to create an order using the RF Pick application
Ability to pick return/credit items
Ability to pick items sourced from another store (i.e., transfer items) Ability to pick the following order types:
o Special orders o Rain check orders o Quotes
o Return/credit memos o Suspended orders
12. Transfer orders that are in a “ship” or “complete” state (“request” transfers can be picked), I am on Release 24. Did I miss something in the update?
These are enhancements that have been released, but that require licensing.
13. Is Mobile Manager an add-on to Eagle Mobile or is it included?
Mobile Manager is a phone app that is separate from Eagle Mobile.
14. Is Pricing Planner required to use Mobile Shopper?
Mobile Shopper is bundled with Pricing Planner, so yes, it is required.
15. Do you have to be integrated to use the tablet app? And Epicor's Wi-Fi connection?
When you say integrated, are you talking about Credit Cards? If so, yes, it would require Wi-Fi but any connection you have or 3G/4G.
16. Is there a limit on the amount of devices to use with Eagle Mobile?
It is only limited by the amount of licenses you purchase. Each RF Gun is a license.
17. On what level is Mobile Counts expected?
It is currently on the product roadmap that is targeted for Release 26. But remember our Safe Harbor Statement ―it has been in the works and we are anxiously awaiting its arrival.
18. Will the mobile products work within the store if the device is Wi-Fi access only? To clarify, if I purchase a smart phone, but don't connect it to a carrier, will it work as long as it is on Wi-Fi? I am specifically looking at mgr, lookup, counts.
19. What is the price for Eagle Anywhere?
Eagle Anywhere is available for retailers that are Hosting in our Secure Data Center. If you are interested in Hosting, please contact your Account Manager.
20. Will the counting app be part of existing Mobile Manager or a new app that requires a new purchase?
Mobile Counts will be a separate App from Mobile Manager and will be licensed accordingly.
21. Is Order Pick a purchase option? I see it requires a password to turn on the option.
It does require a password to turn on, and it is license free, but you do need to pay for setup and training.
22. What mobile devices are actually integrated into the Eagle― i.e. inventory, payment processing etc.; thereby reducing GL entries into the system?
Eagle Mobile which does Inventory Counts sends the data to Eagle Physical Inventory Posting (PIP) which Eagle would then handle and have to normal flow. With Tablet POS that
transaction would come into Eagle via POS and handled normally there as well.
23. Is there a Mobile POS for iPhone, or is it for iPad only? Also, what are the payment tendering options in Mobile POS (not the linebuster)?
It really works on a Tablet because of form fit to the screen size. Payment options are via our EPX payment processing.
24. How do we get our Compass reports to appear on Mobile Manager?
If you have Compass security, then you will see them. If you have any issues, please contact Eagle Advice Line.
25. So no charge to account, cash, or other tendering methods?
Charge to Account is available. No cash or other tendering methods are available at this point.
26. For an offsite event, what would be the best device to accept cash and credit cards?
