Server – E-Mail Forwarding
You can forward your company E-Mail to your BlackBerry.
NOTE: Check with your company’s IT Administrator to verify
that you are allowed to forward your company E-Mail to your BlackBerry Web Client account. Forwarding E-Mail to BlackBerry Web Client does not offer the advanced security features of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
• Create a forwarding rule in your desktop E-Mail client to forward your E-Mail to your BlackBerry E-Mail address.
• Request that your company’s IT Administrator creates a forwarding rule directly on the enterprise server (Novell®GroupWise, Sun®iPlanet, etc.) to forward your E-Mail to your BlackBerry E-Mail address.
Business Solutions
BlackBerry Enterprise Server
If your company uses the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and you are an authorized user, please contact your corporate IT Administrator after you have activated your BlackBerry handheld. In addition to integrating your BlackBerry Enterprise Server, you can also use the BlackBerry Web Client to integrate your existing E-Mail accounts if authorized by your company. To do this, please refer to the Personal E-Mail Solution Selector.

under Tips section.
3. The E-mail Accounts List screen appears. Click Add Account. 4. The E-mail Account Set-up screen appears. In the following
fields, type the appropriate information:
• E-Mail Address: Type the full E-Mail address of the account that you want to add (for example, [email protected]). • User Name: Type the login ID (For Example – username). • Password: Type the password for the account.
• Re-enter Password: Confirm your password.
5. Click Submit. NOTE: If you add a POP3 E-Mail account, you
might be prompted to complete the following fields:
• E-Mail Server: Type the address of your Internet Service Provider’s mail server (for example, mail.ispname.com). If you do not know the mail server address, contact your Internet Service Provider
• Port Number: Type the appropriate port number. If you do not know the port number, contact your ISP. 6. Click Submit. The account is added.
If unable to integrate using the above solution, please refer to the following:
Your ISP or E-Mail provider may offer an E-Mail forwarding service, where you can forward E-Mail from your existing E-Mail account to your BlackBerry. NOTE: You can contact your ISP and request that a forwarding rule be implemented for your account, if available. E-mail forwarding leaves a copy of your E-Mail in your ISP E-Mail
account. Delete messages from your ISP account so you don’t run out of space to receive and forward messages.
