Operational Reporting provides reports that cover the day- to-day operations of a firm. These reports can be detailed and pertain to a specific area of business and help staff, billing timekeepers and working timekeepers keep abreast of the status of their specific work areas.
RAF capabilities help push structured operational metrics to a wide audience. At the same time, they personalize those metrics to the people receiving them. Its advanced capabilities provide an interactive technology that allows users to interrogate the warehouse and its rich set of data to find answers—without having to know SQL syntax or the structure of the warehouse.
Through the use of Business Objects semantic layer universes, RAF provides users with drag-and-drop capabilities to quickly and easily extract answers to
complex ad-hoc questions. These reports are drawn from the powerful multi-dimensional RAF warehouse, allowing users to slice and dice data and drill down into more detailed information. RAF’s Query and Analysis tools are flexible enough to be used by the firm’s finance team and other power users, but they also can be used to create simpler reports suitable for use by anyone in the firm.
