BYLAWS

ARTICLE l Name

This Club shall be known as the Rancho Cucamonga Fourth Quarter Club (RCFQC).

ARTICLE ll Objectives

The objectives and purpose of the RCFQC shall be to assist financially, organizing and promoting Rancho Cucamonga High School (RCHS) football, as deemed necessary by

RCFQC. The RCFQC shall encourage parents, friends, neighbors, and relatives to participate in fundraisers, assist football program in all capacities that the RCFQC feels necessary in helping coaches, players, and football participants.

In all areas, the RCFQC will promote good citizenship, spirit, and sportsmanship.

The RCFQC will not charge any dues to join the club. Donations will be accepted by any member, neighbor, relative or friend of the RCFQC.

ARTICLE lll Membership

1. Membership will be accepted from any parent, significant adult of either a current student, former student, or potential student of RCHS, also alumni of RCHS.

2. Any Member shall be removed from the RCFQC or Board of Directors for any act opposed to the stated purpose of the RCFQC.

3. The member shall be notified within Thirty Days (30) in writing, by the Board of Directors. He/She will have the opportunity in the next scheduled meeting to defense.

ARTICLE IV

Officers/Organizational Structure

1. Elected officers shall be a president, vice president, senior vice president(s), treasurer, and secretary.

2. The executive and administrative power of the RCFQC shall be vested in an Executive Board of Directors which will consist of Five (5) persons: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Football Coach.

3. The General Board will consist of the following offices: Senior Vice President in charge of Programs and Spirit Merchandise, Senior Vice President in charge of Snack Bar and Team Meals, Senior Vice President in charge of Fundraising, and at least three (3) Division Advisors.

4. Elected officers shall hold offices for one (1) full year beginning March 1st or until their successors are elected. They shall be eligible for no more than two (2) consecutive years in the same office, except for the treasurer position or if no new officers come forth.

5. Officers must have a student currently or previously in the program or have an incoming player to the football program and must be in good standing in the community.

6. The position of President will require the candidate(s) to have held an Executive Board office for one (1) full term.

7. The Board of Directors shall meet once a month for the purpose of administering the affairs of the RCFQC. This meeting shall be held on the first Monday or Tuesday of each month.

8. The Board of Directors shall have full power to act for the RCFQC in all matters.

9. Officers shall perform the duties provided in these bylaws and such other duties as prescribed for the offices.

10. Special meetings of the Board of Directors may be called by the President or Quorum of the Board of Directors.

11. A Quorum of Directors needed to conduct business shall consist of at least four (4) members of the Executive Board of Directors.

12. Any vacancies that occur in the Board of Directors shall be filled from the general membership by a majority vote of the Executive Board, except for those vacancies caused by expiration of office.

13. Obligations may be incurred, and disbursements made, only on approval of a Quorum of the board.

14. Only members of the Executive Board shall be authorized to sign on checks drafted by the RCFQC.

15. A minimum of two (2) signatures shall be required on all checks issued by the RCFQC.

16. At no time shall any of the three (3) members authorized to sign checks drafted by the RCFQC be of the same family, and or household.

17. In the event any of the three (3) members are of the same family, and or household, the member, who is not the treasurer, shall withdraw his/her name from RCFQC bank account and an alternate member from the Board of Directors shall be appointed to sign on checks.

18. These By-Laws may be amended in whole or in part by a Quorum of board of Directors providing 30-day notice of changes to membership.

Article V

Nominations and Elections

1. Nominations are to take place in the month of January of each year.

Persons nominated must accept nomination either present or by letter.

2. Elections are to take place in the month of February of each year. Nominations made by the floor can be accepted at that time.

3. Transfer of office is to take place in the month of March of each year.

ARTICLE VI

Board of Directors and Their Duties President

1. The President is to preside at all meetings of the RCFQC, call to order and adjourn all meetings, be responsible to carry out all affairs of RCFQC in accordance to the By Laws.

Vice President

1. The Vice President shall, in the absence or incapacity of the President, perform the duties of that office, be responsible in the carry out of all affairs of RCFQC in accordance to the By Laws.

2. He/She shall also perform the duties as ways and means for the RCFQC.

Secretary

1. The secretary shall keep true and accurate minutes of all meetings of the RCFQC, including Board of Director meetings and special meetings. Duplicate copies shall be available at all meetings and the originals to be filed in a minute book. The secretary shall attend to all correspondence pertaining to the RCFQC.

Treasurer

1. The Treasurer shall have the care and the custody of all funds and securities of the RCFQC and deposit the same in the name of the RCFQC. He/She shall sign all checks, notes and orders for the payment of money. Receipts will be given for all monies and items received. Canceled checks and or stubs will be kept at all times.

2. Treasurer will issue out a check only with purchase order, invoice or receipt for amount shown only.

3. Treasurer will submit a Financial Report with deposits and expenditures at scheduled monthly board meetings.

4. Treasurer will submit a yearly budget report to RCHS.

Football Coach

1. Coach will provide to the RCFQC the overall status of the RCHS Football program.

2. Coach will also provide to the RCFQC, in writing, areas of assistance requested by the RCFQC, in March of each year.

Program Director/Website Representative

1. Program Director will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of the RCHS football program and website announcements, scores, and photos.

2. Coordinating committees for the RCHS football program as deemed necessary with prior approval of Executive Board members.

Advisors

1. There will be an advisor for each division of football.

2. Advisors will report to the RCFQC on status of their respected division at monthly meetings.

3. Advisors will also be responsible to contact parents of their division for assistance with fund raisers, snack bar, and/or other events determined by the RCFQC.

4. Advisors will provide information to parents as necessary, coordinating disbursements and receipts of all fund-raising activities.

5. Representative to attend monthly RCFQC meetings.

Spirit Rep

1. The Spirit Rep will be responsible for facilitating all aspects of the RCHS Football Program Spirit Merchandise.

2. He/She will seek approval of all expenditures from the Board of Directors.

3. He/She will submit invoices/receipts for all approved expenses incurred.

Snack Bar Coordinator

1. The Snack Bar Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the RCHS Football Snack Bar.

2. He/She will seek approval of all expenditures from the Board of Directors.

3. He/She will submit invoices/receipts for all approved expenses incurred.

4. He/She will work together with Division Reps on coordinating Snack Bar schedule.

Team Meal Coordinator

1. The Team Meal Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the RCHS Football Varsity pre-game meals.

2. He/She will seek approval of all expenditures from the Board of Directors.

3. He/She will submit invoices/receipts for all approved expenses incurred.

4. He/She will work together with Treasurer on coordinating payment of Team Meals.

5. He/She will work together with Program Director to get donations from local restaurants/vendors.

ARTICLE VII Committees

Committees shall be appointed by the president or by the Board of Directors as deemed

necessary to carry out the business of the RCFQC. Each appointed committee shall perform the duties set forth in these bylaws and such other duties as directed by the president or the board of directors.

ARTICLE VIII Dissolution
