• Mill test reports certified by manufacturer for chemical and physical properties.
• Free from dirt and foreign material.
• The pipe end Cap/Seal will not be removed until the pipe is to be installed.
• At openings for branches in pipe, all material, which falls into the pipe, will be removed before Grooving/Threading in the branch fittings.
• Internal and external part of pipe and pipe fittings will be clean and free from oil, rust, scale, and other material that would be detrimental to either the weld or the base metal when heat is applied.
• After each day’s work, the open ends of all pipes being installed shall be sealed.

• Pipe and fittings, valve etc. will be tagged or label.

racked 2 sections and 4 section maximum respectively.
• All fittings and valves kept in a covered dry storage area until ready for installation.
• Grooved joints number marking in isometric drawings by piping engineer. • By circular saw and by grinding.
• By machine cutting/grinding and grooving. • As per approved AFC

• Visual inspection and clearance. • Covering of spool ends
• Completion of hydraulic testing on pre fabricated spools, if applicable.
• Completion of painting activities where necessary.
• Completion of grooving if necessary.
• Type as per AFC drawing.
• Permanent pipe supports installed. • Temporary supports engaged if providing
of permanent supports not possible. • All temporary supports replaced by
permanent support before mechanical clearance.
• As per AFC drawing and P & ID. • As per AFC drawing or direction by

7. Pressure testing
NFPA 13,14,15,16 and NFPA 25.
Test Pressure Test pressure as specified in specification,
AFC Drawing.
No Leak or Pressure Drop.
Hydrostatic pressure test procedure will be submitted later.
