With a pair of scissors, make two
aligned holes in the middle of a wafer
can, about
8
cm from each other.
You will need these to place the mouse
ears on the body.
For the ears, make two holes with a
pair of scissors on two round plastic
caps, as shown in the picture. You
can use the wafer can caps.
Make the hole of each ear coincide
with one of the holes made in the
holder. Insert the paper clips. Fix
the ears to the body of the mouse
with the paper clips.
11
12
Paint the inside of the ears with pink
acrylic and the contour with light
blue. Leave it to dry.
Colour the ping pong balls
yellow. Fix them with paper
adhesive tape between the nose
and ears. Draw the pupils.
ART ATTACK. Vol 1 • Issue 4 • Jun 201 1Cover the mouse with pieces of
newspaper soaked in a mixture of
water and rubber adhesive. Don't
cover the ears on the inside.
Cover the mouse body and nose
with cuttings of coloured comics,
previously soaked in a mixture of
rubber adhesive and water.
Paint a felt pad red and attach three
white pipe-cleaning brushes onto the
back of it to make the mouse's nose
and whiskers.
Fix the nose and whiskers on the
mouse muzzle with rubber adhesive.
To make the shoulder strap, cut
three different-coloured straws
into
2
cm pieces. Make a black,
80
cm-Iong string pass through
these pieces by alternating colours.
Make two knots at the ends.
Cover the bottom and cap with cuttings
of comics glued with a mixture of rubber
adhesive and water. Now, put your
painting inside this funny art holder.
For the tail, knot a string. Make a
hole on the back of the mouse body
and insert the string by leaving the
knot inside the holder.

Do you know how to recreate
round surfaces? All you
need is a pencil and an
eraser, and it will be
a walkover!
Sometimes, you have to draw
many shapes identical to
one another and it isn't
always easy. Here are
three infallible tricks.
IOENTIClIL
To obtain
identical drawings, the
easiest thing you can do
is place a white sheet
of paper on top of the
drawing you want to copy
and trace the outlines. If
you can't see the drawing
properly, you can place
the two sheets on
a window.
If you want
to create many shapes
ident
i
cal to each other, make a
sample shape. Draw the shape
you want on a cardboard and
cut it out. Let it lean on a sheet
of paper or whatever support
you
'
ve chosen and trace the
outlines with a pencil. You can
repeat this operation
as many times
as you want.
If you need to
duplicate the shape
of an object you have
already made, place
the object on a sheet
of paper or whatever
support you prefer.
Trace the outlines
with a pencil
.
Nature sometimes gives birth
to art
-
creations that are
identical-or most identical
to each other. It's what we
call 'twins'
(
not the sign of the
Zodiac, but the two offspring
born together that are as alike
as two peas
)
.
From the birth of Romulus
and Remus, who left a mark
in ancient history, to the twins
Mary
-
Kate and Ashley Olsen
who are whooping it up on
television, more than
2000
years have passed and science
has explained practically all
the secrets concerning twins.
But
,
there are still a lot of
undisclosed mysteries. Many
twins say they can feel their
twin's sensations and some
twins separated since birth have
taken the same decisions in life.
What can we say, sometimes
