Of the 1,194 First-Time, First-Year (FTFY) students who completed applications in 2018, 95% were offered admission, only a 1 percentage point(p.p.) drop from the previous year. First-Time, First-Year students include students who

earned college credits prior to graduating high school.

Five-year weighted averages of admission by race/ethnicity range from 93% to 98%; Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian and African American/Black FTFY applicants have the lowest admission rates, with five-year weighted averages of 93% and 94%. White and Asian FTFY applicants have the highest admission rates, both with a five-year weighted average of 98%.

Female FTFY applicants were slightly more likely to receive admission, at a 97% admission rate compared to the 92% admission rate for male FTFY applicants. With an admission rate of 97%, non-residents were admitted at 4p.p. higher rate than resident FTFY applicants.

Of the 1,137 First-Time, First-Year (FTFY) students offered admissions in 2018, 27% enrolled at Evergreen, a 4 percentage point(p.p.) drop from the previous two years. Yield Rate refers to percent of students who enroll after

being offered admission.

Five-year weighted averages of yield rates by race/ethnicity range from 27% to 40%; American Indian/Alaska Native admitted FTFY applicants have been the most likely to enroll, with a five-year weighted average yield rate of 40%. Asian and Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian admitted FTFY applicants have been the least likely to enroll, both with a five-year weighted average yield rate of 27%.

At a 30% yield rate, admitted male FTFY applicants enrolled at a 4p.p. higher rate than admitted female applicants (26%).
