psychometrically  sound  and  legally  defensible  examinaBon.  

   

NEC  Charge:

NCLEX  examinaBon  process,  including  examinaBon  item  

development,  security,  administraBon  and  quality  assurance  

to  ensure  consistency  with  the  Member  Boards’  need  for

To  recommend  test  plans  to  the  Delegate  Assembly.

NCLEX  ExaminaBon  CommiWee  present  the  Proposed  2014  

NCLEX-­‐PN  Test  Plan  at  the  Annual  MeeBng  for  approval  

September  2013:  

Approved  2014  NCLEX-­‐PN  Test  Plan  is  published  and  placed  on  

the  NCSBN  website.  NCLEX  Panel  of  Judges  parBcipate  in  the  

NCLEX-­‐PN  Standard  Sefng  and  make  recommendaBons  to  the  

Board  of  Directors.  

 

December  2013:  

Board  of  Directors  evaluate  and  set  the  2014  NCLEX-­‐PN  Passing  

Standard.  

 

April  2014:  

Approved  2014  NCLEX-­‐PN  Test  Plan  and  2014  NCLEX-­‐PN  

Standard  Sefng  become  effecBve.
