AC-9400 is a highly flexible time & attendance / access control terminal. It may control the electric lock by using the RFID card. It offers reliable and future-oriented time & attendance / access control solution to meet most requirements in most areas. It can be used either as an off-line stand-alone access control unit or as an on-line access control terminal through RS-485 or RS232 interface. The major features of Model AC9400 are:

Can be used either as an off-line stand-alone unit or as an on-line terminal. 4 character LED to display message, and clock time.

Use proximity Card

Provides RS-232 communication interfaces for remote command programming and data collection. RS-485 interface is optional.

The number of user's card can be from 000000 to FFFFFF,but maximum 8096 user's card.

Contain 512 K bytes Flash Memory buffer, store up to 28,336 records .

Provide a connection for indoor egress switch or one button on keypad to open the door lock from inside the room. But there is no 2nd reader when egress switch is connected.

Door lock open period is programmable from 1 to 255 seconds.

Built-in Real-Time Clock (RTC) module.

Use non-volatile memory, the memory will never lose when power failure.

Personal ID number (PIN) can be from 0 to 9, 00 to 99, 000 to 999, 0000 to 9999, 00000 to 99999, 000000 to 999999.

Two external drives : Drive 1 for door lock, Drive 2 for alarm.

Provide a connection for door sensor to detect the door security. Provide a connection for external second card reader.

Provide a 7x2 keypad to enter the PIN or to program the unit.

Door open mode can be set as " read card only" or "press keypad only" or "read card plus press keypad".

Provide two serial port connectors for daisy-chain connection of multi-unit applications, up to 255 units.

Provide RS-232 communication interface. RS-485 version for long-distance connection is also available.

Alarm active period is programmable from 1 to 65535 seconds. Allows 80 time table for Access control Time zone.

Allows 32 time table for Sensor active Time zone.

Use PC to set Master System Code / Machine ID / User's Card / User Time Zone / Sensor Time Zone / Door Open Duration / Clock Time / Anti-passback ON or OFF / Sensor detect ON or OFF / Baudrate...etc.

Can use keypad to display Firmware Version / Machine ID / Records Number / User's Card Number / Year / Month and Date / Machine Status.

2.There are many AC9400 units connected in one network,you have to set every unit with a different Machine Address number before

connected to the network. Also the Machine Address number for each unit must not be 000 .

2-3. Back to "READY" Standby Mode from Setting Mode

1. The unit will go back to "READY" Standby Mode from Setting Mode. 2. If there is no keypad pressed or no card reading in 15 seconds, the machine will go back to " READY" standby Mode automatically.

1-5. One key to open door

When the AC9400 main unit is installed inside the room and with the external 2nd reader installed outside and you would push one key (one button) to open door from inside, instead of reading a card, you may set the AC9400 one-key-to-open-door function to be enabled. The 4-digit display will show the Firmware Version of the unit. Display [1.0r0] : <1.0> Firmware Version, <r0> Revised Number. The 4-digit display will show the Machine Address of the unit.

1. Find and get the Screw Mounting template from the box and stick the template on the wall where you want to put the AC9400 unit.

2. Drill the 4 mounting holes through the Screw Mounting template if the wall is concrete.

3. Get 4 pieces of plastic bolts to insert into the 4 holes on the wall.

4. Use the special screw driver to remove the two special screws on the bottom of the unit to separate the front cover and back cover.

5. Get the back cover and have all the necessary wires go through the back cover and then mount the back cover on the wall with 4 screws through the screw mounting template.

6. Connect all the necessary wries into the connectors on the main unit put the front cover as the direction from top to bottom shown on the figure sketch.

7. Put the front cover with the back cover together.

8. Use the special screw driver to mount the two screws at the bottom of the unit and then stick the plastic plate to cover the screws.

9. Installation is finished.
