The government’s eligibility criteria for fee waivers and reductions are complex and are presented in a simplified form in this course guide. If you are wanting to study for a level 3 or level 4 course, you may qualify for a 24+ Advanced Learning Loan. Applying is easy, your household income isn’t taken into account, there’s no credit check and no repayments until you earn over £21,000 per year. This course is for volunteers and newly appointed teaching assistants. Learners need to spend at least ten hours per week working in the classroom. Learners must have previously attended the six week introduction course. If this has not been attended, please contact the centre to discuss when and where the next introductory course will take place. Learners need ICT skills and a good level of written
