NCFMA Membership Form

To be filled out by all vendors who wish to be members of the NCFMA – please remember that you can’t apply for double booth without being a member of the NCFMA

Members are eligible for election to the Board of Directors of the NCFMA. Only one

owner/operator of the business that is also a member of the NCFMA may serve on the board at a time. Employees/interns who do not have an ownership of the business are not eligible to serve on the board.

The newly adopted NCFMA By-Laws require that entities designate an active participant and the By-Laws state that at most one director may be from the same entity.

NC Farmers Market: What You Need To Know If Accepted

2016 Dates and Times

June 4 – November 19, 8:30am – 1:00pm

Set up: 7:00am-8:15am

Take down: 1:10pm-2:00pm

Market Location: Union Street, downtown Nevada City

Mandatory Vendor Meeting

Thursday, May 19, 6:30pm-8:00pm Location TBD

All new and returning vendors are required to attend a mandatory vendor meeting.

Additional information and reminders will be sent out. (See Rules & Regulations Section 6.A.)

2016 Membership Fee: $75

1. Due by June 4, 2016 for NCFMA election eligibility/voting

2. No partial payments will be accepted. Member fee must be paid in full prior to receiving membership benefits.

Membership benefits

1. Membership allows you to be a voting member of the Nevada City Farmers Market Association. Board of Director elections will be held in July 2016.

2. Membership ensures your place at the market, as long as you remain in good standing (see NCFMA Rules and Regulations).

3. Members receive reduced weekly booth fees and only agricultural producer members are eligible for double booths.

4. Members can receive discount for paying in advance – payments are due by May 20, 2016.

Booth Fees

Artisan weekly booth fee: $27.

Insurance

Certificate of liability insurance with the Nevada City Farmers Market named as additional insured must be submitted prior to attending your first market.

Rules and Regulations

You are required to read, agree to follow, and sign the terms and conditions in the Nevada City Farmers Market Rules and Regulations.
